Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

I am no longer maintaining this, since I have left WoW and will probably never return. I anyone want to take over, I happy to give this project to someone.

Make your whole party/raid aware of whats happening during and after a readycheck.

- To use this addon you must be party/raid leader or raid assistant, since only those members of a party gets the required events from the wow server.
- Type: "/drc win" in chat to show options window.
- Type: "/drc" to show command line options.

Report bugs, and I'll fix. :-)

Update for patch 3.3:

It is no longer possible to trigger a raid warning while in a 5 man party. (It triggers the gui error/info "You are not in a raid group")

If you need to use this in a 5 man, you need to change the setting for the final status report to "chat". "warning" does not work.

New version released today.
Added features:
- Checkbox to use CHAT in 5 man party situation even if you have set the message type to WARN
- Now informs of all players, a list of AFK players and a list of NOT READY players

This still being updated? I still hope that it would be fixed that if some people are "not ready" but some are "away", this only lists the ones who are not ready and not the away ones.

Yes, this is still being updated.

I'll look into it when updating the addon for Cataclysm. (After the release, since I am not doing PTR. Want to be totally unprepared for the new content. :-)

Have not tested it, but it seem like a related bug has been fixed:

"Fixed a bug where players with Raid Assist capabilities were unable to perform a Ready Check. "

I did not see anything in the patch notes about Assistants NOT being able to do /readychecks but I tested many times and only Raid Leaders can do /readychecks. This maybe a bug since its not in the patch notes.

I did not see anything in the patch notes about raid warnings disabled in parties but I tested and it gives you a message "not in raid" now.

I did see that Any party member may mark targets (this does not apply to raid groups)

I am for some reason no longer able to trigger a raid warning while in a 5 man party. (It triggers the gui error/info "You are not in a raid group") This seems to be a bug introduced by Blizzard. I'll release a version that hopefully should work in a raid setting now.

If you need to use this in a 5 man, you need to change the setting for the final status report to "chat". "warning" does not work.

Seems like blizzard made some changes, you can't do raid warnings in party's anymore. But anyone can mark.
And only Raid Leaders can do /readychecks NOT assistance :(

Is this info in the patch-notes? Or is this by experience maybe? In a forum post?

I just tested my latest implementation, and it seems like it works fine in a raid.

Raid assistants can do /readychecks as well.

I'm getting a similar fault also with lua errors. Our guild tanks use this mod and love it.
Please fix it for 3.3

Yes since patch 3.3 I'm getting the same thing it returns Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary, Naturemary is not ready everytime.
Please fix, this is one of my favorite addons :)

With the 3.3 patch this seems to be totally broken. It returns for me Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt, Colt is not ready always.

It also gives that error when starting up.

Sorry about the late update after patch. New version is in alpha. Only a toc update, have not had the time to test it. If someone can confirm it's working I'll release it.

Seems that if someone is "not ready" and some people are "afk", only the not ready is listed and the afk people are not.

This is actually by design (Or quick coding :). It would be possible to list both, but usually if someone is "not ready" it means that you should wait before pull.

I'll fix it if it is important for enough people.

I kinda had a weird bug. I just started using this being the GM of a guild and it was nice to report back to the RC in the raid warning that everyone was ready for a boss pull. But it seems that a few days ago I was afk and the RC hit the ready check button and it automatically answered back that I was ready. But I was afk making dinner and I come back and my raid is fighting a boss and I was locked out. There was no one else here to hit ready on my screen and I was one floor away, so I am not sure if the raid leader automatically is set to always hit ready, or this was a one time bug. All the rest of my ready checks I was around to click it so I am not sure what happened.

Hi,
I just tried to reproduce the problem, but was not able to...

I am running the addon on my client, and not clicking anything when I get th "Are you ready?" window.
I tested the following scenarios:
- Me as raid leader, RC triggered by assist in same group: AFK reported.
- Me as raid leader, RC triggered by assist in different group: AFK reported.
- Other person on other group raid leader, me assist. RC triggered by Raid Leader: AFK reported.
- Other person in same group raid leader, me assist. RC triggered by Raid Leader: AFK reported.

The only thing I can think of is if you are not assist or raid leader. No report will be sent. Not even the "Everyone is ready".

If you can find a way to reproduce the problem, please describe it to me. In the meantime I am assuming everything is working as intended. :-)
