CooldownCount
This addon displays a large yellow number (and text for numbers > 60 seconds) on spell icons for action bars, bags, character sheet, and quest icons in the tracker. Font can be modified, and the cut-off for how long a cooldown needs to be in order to display on the button can also be changed. The number begins flashing when time remaining is less than 10 seconds.
This is an update for WoW >= 3.3.5 compatibility since 4.0's new API nuked some of the code here. The original addon was created by hshh and the compatibility has been fixed by TheCheat5 and Kiki.
Additional Note: Tested and confirmed working after dependency update for Patch 6.0.2

Enjoy!
@kiki
I know exactly what you mean :D
Thanks for updating this great addon!
@horwalter
I'd say there is a 90% chance it will be :) As for all WoW extensions, I'll play for a few months before stopping again. Damned WoW!
Any Chance this gets updated for Legion? Would be really aprecciated :)
Really lovely addon id say , but i struggle one problem atm. It actually disables counting for TargetDebuff/buff Frames but not for its own only ..it disables it at all , for example other addons wouldnt count that till i edit/remove TargetFrame.
The main reason i would not like to use its own count for buffs/debuffs @ target its because it shares the size on the ActionBars ..i would like to have big numbers on ActionBars but not that big on Buff/debuff@target
I could to that using other addon for TargetBuffs/Debuffs but still can't because CC is actually disables Counting at all somehow.
i play @patch 3.3.5
I'll be glad to get my stuff done. Thanks
Love this addon, Need an update for 6.1 please!
Dear authors,
I have been using this mod for years and been extremely satisfied with it. Now that Blizzard has enabled native number countdowns on the action bars I no longer need to use this addon and as I'm always concerned about memory bloat I will be uninstalling it. Before I did though, I wanted to thank you very much for making this available. It served a very great need long before Blizzard ever took action to fill that need. It was simple, elegant and it just plain worked, my three standards for good program development. I wish you all the luck in your future endeavors.
SINCERELY,
Malvenue
Thanks for your support.
Though I don't think blizzard's solution has the blinking mode when cooldown is about to expire ^^
Hi there! Just started using this addon over another one I've used for years because of one small thing... the number flashes when it's about to end! That's it! I'll never go back to that other one.
I'd like to make two small suggestions that I think will help improve this addon.
1. Enable cool down of Spells that have stacks/charges. What I mean is... for example a Destruction Warlock has 2 stacks/charges of Conflagrate. If I cast just 1 Conflagrate the timer doesn't display because there's still a stack/charge left. The timer only displays once I've used both stacks/charges and the timer only displays the time for the first stack/charge to fill back up.
2. An option to Show/Hide the default "cooldown sweep" animation on the spell.
Thanks for your hard work and a great addon!
could you add a screenshot? thanks
Done :D
Is there a way to put cooldowns on the DoTs that appear on a Target's debuff list (that are yours of course)? Really need this.
Hi Kiki,
Thanks for the reply :) I searched through the project site for a bit and wasn't able to find a list of the formal frame names. Had no luck with trial and error or Google searching, either. Sorry to ask what I'm sure is a silly question -- but any suggestions on naming/syntax for the frames? Basically I just want to tell Cooldown Count to blacklist Blizzard Action Bar 10.
I haven't played the game for 2 years, I don't remember the actual frame names.
I know there is a tool in-game (blizzard one) that shows the frame stack, but I don't remember the name.
But I suppose the old macro I used still works, to get the frame name below the mouse cursor :
Worked like a charm, thank you!
Is there any way to blacklist or whitelist certain bars or buttons? With abilities that have charges, it's very hard to see the small charge count number with the big flashing yellow number.
Great work, though!
Hi,
there is a blacklist feature (try "/cc" to get help, you'll see "/cc bl add <FrameName>" command for instance).
White list is not implemented, since it's the default behavior.

Love the simple and clear purpose of this addon. Cooldowns seems abandoned and I find many other CC-addons are just messing up with the whole UI, which is very annoying.
Testing with WoD (patch 6.0.2) CooldownCount was throwing errors - nailed it down to including an older version of Ace3DB
I manually fixed that on my local copy and CoolldownCount started to work - I think if I can recall how to update the repos and get the Interface tagged for 60000 it should just plain start working again for WoD
I would appriciate it if the addon didn't show a number on Weak Auras. Use that number for stacks, not CD.
I like this one, I would however love it if there was an option to toggle the blinking of the red warning text, so that it would simply change from yellow to just red without the blinking ;)
P.S. Works well with both "Bartender4" and "Button Forge" (for me at least).
