Cartographer_QuestInfo

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Cartographer_QuestInfo is a quest library module for Cartographer.

Cartographer_QuestInfo has built-in database for quests, no need to record quest first, you get the info instantly.

Provide info for nearly every quest. Quest info are data mined from wowhead/allakhazam/wowbox website, so it is almost complete and up-to-date.
Provide quest start and end npc or item info, you get the name and location.
Provide quest objective info, you get the mob level and location.
Provide quest series info.
Add quest level to quest log and NPC dialog.
Works on enUS, frFR, deDE, esES, koKR, ruRU, zhCN, zhTW client.

how do u make it so i can only see the quests i can get and havent completed yet? if u cant, i really wish u could so i can see where available quests for me are in the zone and i dont go to a place where i have already completed all the quests. also how do i get rid of the quest icons on the minimap? its really annoying as it looks like i can except all quests around me when i cant and i get confused with the real quest icons as they look the same

Anyone could help? i'm gettin error anytime i log in. _Questinfo\libs\LibQuixote-2.0.lua:246:table index is nil the ingame issue is that i can't track my quests... Any solution? Thanks

Try uncheck "Show quest level" in QuestInfo options dialog, that may be conflicted with other addons you have been installed.

Please make sure Cartographer & Cartographer Notes are enabled in logon screen, and check Notes and QuestInfo modules are enabled in Cartographer settings.

I'm a little confused, and have the same question as retyler. i see very recent posts saying they love the addon, thanks for saving me from carbonite etc (and yes thank you for making this addon...i've been using it for a very long time now), but lately the patches dont seem to be doing anything and i was wondering if it was just me. i used to be able to see the quest start stop buttons and the soforth but ever since they came out with the toc stuff its like the addon isnt even there. i've tried reinstalling it, and i've been updating every time, but it acts like its not even installed, no error messages to report or nething. and yes i;ve checked to make sure all addons are enabled and out of dates are loaded too.

again, i love the addon and i hope it'll work again for me..twas a major time saver

Big thanks for keeping this addon going. People keep telling me to go to Carbonite or QuestHelper, but I just don't like them. The beauty of QuestInfo is in its simplicity.

the grey icon are places where possible quests are at. some maybe alliance / horde only quests.
turn on your quest finder in you map the yellow ! and travel around the grey icons.
also some of the quest maybe part of a chain.

Ok, I am using this add on, Im 80 and want to go back and do low level quests, but from I am getting, is that the gray icons on the large map are where you "would"pick them up not ones you have not done. Am I correct on this or does it update to what you have done? Cause it doesnt seem to be working for me.
