Cartographer_QuestInfo

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Cartographer_QuestInfo is a quest library module for Cartographer.

Cartographer_QuestInfo has built-in database for quests, no need to record quest first, you get the info instantly.

Provide info for nearly every quest. Quest info are data mined from wowhead/allakhazam/wowbox website, so it is almost complete and up-to-date.
Provide quest start and end npc or item info, you get the name and location.
Provide quest objective info, you get the mob level and location.
Provide quest series info.
Add quest level to quest log and NPC dialog.
Works on enUS, frFR, deDE, esES, koKR, ruRU, zhCN, zhTW client.

This add-on needs to be updated; it is an awesome quest helper but is now behind the times with all the newly added quests. Please update this to show new quests, it is the best quest helper available!

Ok, I'm confused. How is it working with 3.1.0 and/or 3.1.1 as stated? How do you alter the first line?

Love this addon, it helps with questing when you need it without making is nearly brainless like questhelper can do :) It still works fine with 3.1.1 as it is now, though the data isn't quite up to date anymore, like f.e. the locations of the feathers/trapped animals in one of the howling fjord quests seem to have changed. I'm guessing there are a lot more changes, so could the data be updated plz?

I just want to thank you for such an awesome addon and to please ignore all these rude, self-centred and inconsiderate morons who obviously think that on top of taking advantage of your selfless hard work, they can disrespect your decisions.

Hello Lahow,

Can you please get in touch with WoWMatrix so as to enable their client to work with your add-on?

I like your add-on a lot. However, my aim playing WoW isn't about spending hours downloading add-ons, but hours playing it.

Thus - unless it can be included in my regular WoWmatrix update run, I will stop using it and encourage everyone doing same.

Was wonderin if you had a good doublewide tradeskill window mod or knew of one(without the extra features such as advanced trade skills has)

i am desperately in need of an updated version of quest info to go with new WOW patches....doing quests without it is like being blind....what can i do until its updated?

WowMatrix is an addon updated allowing users to easily keep all their addons up todate. However, there's a spat between curse and the folks at WowMatrix, they need your permission to continue distributing their.

When you are able to update this addon, I would appreciate it if you would allow wowmatrix to continue redistributing your app.

nevermind i didnt have the notes enabled. a second question, does this addon keep track of what quests you have done, and remove them from the avaialable quests shown?
