does anyone know why Cartographer r74405.3 spams guild chat when i enter a new zone?
any help appriciated..i dont see any option to disable that.

i've done everything that it told me to but for some reason it just doesn't work. Like i don't get any errors or anything, an when i check my addons it says the dependency is missing

I enjoy Cartographer. I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask my question . I'm sure I'll be informed later. Recently while trying other add-ons, the button on the map I usually clicked to change filter options has vanished. I know I haven't explained my problem in detail, but I was hoping there was an easy fix with a help command like "/cart filter".

I've got the same problems as Wildrin, but mine is for Herbalism, the nodes aren't showing up.

How do you get cartographer to track mining nodes? I could not get it to work so ended up installing gatherer

I keep getting an error message in Stormwind a bout LUA:908 and indexing or something of the like. Once I leave stormwind it is fine though.
Also, everytime I open up the map all the action bars stay up on top of the map.

I also happen this problem about pressing button "m" opened map but I have errors because in guild chat I see CGPRequest(area zone), it is annoying and keep spamming

ok well i have installed the mod and i unzipped the files and put the files into a folder titled mt mods then when i log in the button is there but the add on is not any1 have a solution???

Don't know if you've found the answer to this, but you need to unzip the file to your add-ons folder in WoW. This should be located on your computer as follows: C> program files> World of Warcraft> Interface> AddOns

I have to disagree with Misuteri in that I used Cartographer extensively in BG's. It's helpful to see what class and who is in combat with the map function.

I just want to state that there was very little wrong with Cartographer 2. You had BG maps, waypoints, points of interests, instance maps and of course the WoW map itself.

While maybe not as terribly technically impressive as V3 it is better. I use Cartographer a lot for mapping out leveling runs for instances, which boss we need to hit, don't need/can skip. You don't need maps in BG's but honestly Cartographer is the best for knowing when your next upgrade is coming from MH/BT. Sure you know which items come from which boss but even big WoW geeks don't know the order of bosses until they've done the instances.

The thing Cartographer needed most was 3-D instance maps and I'm sure that's pretty much impossible to do in the add on format. I can't tell you how frustrated I used to get trying to figure out how to plan the shortest runs for RFD or even Scholomance based on 2-D.

The zoom etc. worked fine and technically I had no problems with it. I just went back to V2 because it had so much more in it content wise.

I'm having real trouble with this new version. I've completely reinstalled WoW and downloaded through the Curse installer, it shows the date etc but it keeps showing up in WoW as "out of date" and when I enable it it wont work.

Hi, I've just downloaded this addon, I also have questhelper. Im running window vista and cartographer is not working for me. Questhelper is working fine, just not cartographer, and they are the only two addons I have. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

I've downloaded this to my addons folder but the tracking elements to this addon just aren't working. Can someone give me some possible explanations to this? Many thanks.

Can I run questhelper and cartographer together? If I can, I am doing something wrong.

okay i asked a couple post ago and i'll ask again in ur charecter selection screen where u can check ur addons does anyone else just have one thing ffrom this download called cartographer cuz i dont have the mining and herbs finding part or anything i got off of this in gameplay and thats the only thing in my addons page that i hvave from this someone PLEASE HELP cuz no one has answered me for the third time

You need GatherMate which goes with Cartographer. You download Cartographer Complete and only check the addons for mining, herbalism, or whatever you need to track. I use a different tracker so I only use the basic version of Cartographer. Hope this info helps.
