Cartographer 3.0

Table of Contents

This is a map addon for World of Warcraft that replaces the map and offers shiny features.

The idea is for it to work very much like Google Maps, only in-game.

Cartographer 3.0 is brand new, "experimental" version of Cartographer.

I can't believe this IS the version of cartographer that is being constantly worked on, as it kicks MUCH ass over the old one. Would love to be able to get cart_herbs and such working.

How do I reset the window size for this addon? I stretched mine too much and now I can't see the coordinates or the name of the zone I'm looking at. I also cant manually resize the window

I hope this one will actually get more continued though, I like this one far above the 'older' one. Though issues here and there with the maps and might be memory consuming or frame reducing. (disabled allows easily running 6 wow screens, turned on 1.5) Nothing that bad.

It runs great and it is easier to go from point A to B, not to mention with the waypoints clearer view this way. Gotten a lot more effect with the map out of the game with this cartographer then any other map addon.

Great addon and hope will become main cartographer soon sometime.

Edit: This is "Experimental" new version of Cartographer. I went back to regular Cartographer until this one takes over. Sorry for any misinformation in my previous post.

This is the BETA version. Use : http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/cartographer.aspx That is the current version. Note: "Cartographer 3.0" is only refers to the WoW Update 3.0... and not Cart version 3.0. The current Cartographers is version 2.3.4

It looks like development on this has stopped while the older version has releases for wrath. I am having issues with cartographer waypoints in the older version and am wondering if I should reinstall it or go with the new version. Advice?

Howling Fjord questgiver/return npc Orfus of Kamagua is shown located just south of New Agamand, at 56.9,74.7. He is actually located at the eastern end of the Ancient Lift, approx 41,60. Thanks.

I wonder if someone can tell me but is it possible to use data from cart2 in cart3? Like importing data for all the professions and what not for tracking herbs and so on?

I have created my own problem in Cartograher. My daughter wanted it out of her interface so we clicked on the choice to separate Cartographer from the map. Only after did I realize this was applied to all of our realms. The settings for Cart no longer appear for me to correct it and uninstalling then reinstalling has not corrected the problem. I really want my cartographer back. Let me know what to do.

The option to reattach Cartographer to the world map is still in the options.

Escape - Addons - Cartographer3 - press the little "+" sign - Advanced - there it is.

And what I mean by that is, when in the city, bringing up Cartographer does not zoom in to Dalaran, nor does it load the map when you click on the city location in Dragonblight.

Cartog3 is great but it has its setbacks aswell for me it makes my character load very very slowly maybe a couple mins i just use cartog3 for the instance poi and stuff if i could get it for cartog2 would be awesome :D!
