Cartographer 3.0

Table of Contents

This is a map addon for World of Warcraft that replaces the map and offers shiny features.

The idea is for it to work very much like Google Maps, only in-game.

Cartographer 3.0 is brand new, "experimental" version of Cartographer.

This is mostly working for me in 3.3, except that dungeon maps don't display.

This addon must be notified as dead.
I loved cartografer and the new until crash and no longer updated.
So from now on it's Mapster where it's working and other addons can interact with it (notes ex.). They recommend few addons together with it. Works fine

I prefer the old cartographer... I could use the cartographer_poi but it doesn't seem to work in either version now in so far as creating a waypoint to a poi. I'm sad.

I agree with Silly. Like dthe old one better but the Auther said it was DOA. Cart was one of my "must haves" will be sad to see it go.

This cartographer is a total fail.I didnt understand nothing & wjhen i tried making a note,i couldnt even say ok when i was done.The last one was better.Go update it instead of making this.

What happened? This thing is a travasty. They need to completely scrap this and throw it in the "lose" column and go update the other cartographer. Nice attempt and I see they were trying to make an updated version, but this thing just out right sucks... Please go update the other one.

Doesn't I bother anyone that one of the best map add-ons around hasn't been updated in over four months. I would love to use this add-on again but it fails to work consistantly and I was forced to remove it.

I have found by disabling the "Look and Feel" component only that most everything else works even with Blizz's new changes.

Fixed my earlier issue. Thank you for help. Now 2 more things. I made the mistake of making c3 stretch from one side of the screen to the other, and now can not resize. I uninstalled, and reinstalled, but still have the same huge map. Any idea on how to get this thing resized?

Also, is there a way to turn off the c3 arrow? i use QH, and having 2 arrows is weird.

You have to go into WTF/Account/ACCOUNTNAME/SavedVariables and delete the Cartographer3.lua and Cartographer3 (.bat). That will reset the position. To remove either QH or C3 arrow, right click one of them and select hide or something similar.

Oh please don't spam 3 comments, you can simply use the edit button if you forgot something. About the Isle of Conquest: loosa2 supplied a patch for this already. Just browse the comments. That yellow circle is some left-over stuff of the worldmap button and I think its funny :-) Like for the arrow frame, there is no configuration switch. You have to patch the lua code to deactivate it. But I'm not sure if that button code isn't needed somewhere. Do you see flag carriers when the circle is visible?

First of all I have to say I LOVE this addon. It's so great I am always speechless.
Next up is what seems like a bug report. Flag carriers in WSG doesn't show up properly. They seem to pop up on the map on random occassions. When I enable the wow world map they show up properly on that one but still no sign of them on the c3-map =/
