Im getting the same thing as demichef, this is not fun, I really want that arrow, so much easier to look at then your minimap.

i get the same error as jugglervr, and no time to waypoint...
it came with 2.4.2... nothing else changed, just wow updated...

Getting an error upon my death. it's not displaying my "time to corpse". I think this happened with the advent of 2.4.2 but I'm not 100% certain.

It was really nice to be able to tell my party how long to expect me after death...

I am using WoW patch version 2.4.2 and I have separately installed versions 65599, 68896, 70829, and 73088. I noticed an odd occurrence that seems to be related to Cartographer. Whenever I group with somebody, it sends a line of gibberish in a whisper to them. Also, any time I open my map or travel to a new area, it sends a different line of gibberish to my guild chat. The problem has to be related to Cartographer as it is the only Add-On I have installed, and removing it solves the problem. Any ideas?

If it helps, the ones it sends to the guild say "CGPca-sREQUESTs-(area name)". The ones it whispers to groupmates said "QHlp####" where the #'s are garbled text, letters overlayed on other letters.

Never mind. The guild chat spam is a problem that exists only on private servers. The whisper spam wasn't Cartographer's fault either. Because it was disabled, I forgot QuestHelper was still installed, and it was the culprit.

i cant find the folders Cartographer_Herbalism, and Cartographer_Mining any know where to find them?

Became totaly incomaptible with QuestHelper as of 2.4.2
Cartographer way points dont wrok, transparency doesnt works, starts wow with error message by default... didnt look into it deeper, i rather deleted it. 2.4.2 killed the mod... needs critical update

I have the same problme it simply will nto work since the latest WoW patch. Same with QH. ???

Everytime I log in, I get a message that says:
...apher\Cartrographer_GuildPositions\GuildPositions.lua:409: attempt to call method 'IrateGuildMembers' (a nil value). (it pops up in a box and when you hit "OK" it just comes back every few seconds)

The only way I've discovered to get rid of it so far is to completely disable cartographer, which sucks because I really like it and it is really helpful when playing.

I am haveing the same problim as lisalila
ever sence 70829.4 when every i try to make the map transparent and not show the borders, QH's on map objectives wount show up. It seems to be something to due with the way cartographer treats QH, like its part of cartographers interface that gos away with the transparincy efect. I wish this wasnt the case because I prefer to have cartographer transparent and have QH's objectives on the map. I would vary much like to see this issue fixed.

i recently downloaded a guild addon: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9915/ and ever since i have had about 75% size black background, which used to be full screen and transparent :( any ideas?

FIXED IT! It took some thinking but being the genious that i am i figuired out why the cartographer show the copper error message for some reason it does not compat with the waypoint arrow on the quest helper so to fix this follo these easy steps

1. /qh settings
2. Disable waypoint arrow
3. Enjoy WoW

you may still get the beggining error message but it will not spam the second one and thats the important part =D

Eeeeesh! Since the most recent WoW patch, and after installing the latest update for Cartographer, my Quest Helper isn't working (no PoIs with tracking lines), I get an error message window full of stuff from Cartographer when I try to get on a griffon and fly, then I can't fly nowhere... and it's a mess. Sigh.. I put in an official bug report, copying the text of the error msg that keeps popping on this. Hope you folks can figure out what's wrong. I really like Cartographer and Quest Helper.. it's wonderfully useful, when it works right!
