This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

CARTOGRAPHER HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR 3.3!!!

DO NOT CREATE BUG REPORTS SAYING IT IS BROKEN!

There are no plans to do any major bug fixes for Cartographer (v2 or v3). If there is an update it will only be a minor fix. (It has already been this way since at least 2008.) Cartographer(v2) uses an outdated framework that will not be updated in the case of major breakages so Cartographer(v2) would require a complete rewrite. Neither of the two main developers (Ckknight and Arrowmaster) have the time nor desire to do this currently. Occasionally a new version might be released to include fixes made by other developers or new versions of embedded libraries.

Cartographer is a modular, lightweight, and efficient framework for manipulation of the world map. It is based on Rock and other libraries of the WoWAce community.

Battlegrounds : allows viewing of battlegrounds outside of the zone.
Coordinates : adds coordinates to the bottom of the world map of the player and the cursor.
Foglight : Shows unexplored areas on the map. replacement for MozzFullWorldMap or Unexplorer. Much more efficient, though.
Group Colors : turns all your party's and your raid's POIs into circles colored based on class, and shows a number on them based on their raid group.
Instance Maps : shows maps of instances.
Instance Notes : adds boss notes and such to instance maps.
Look 'n' Feel : allows you to change the transparency, position, and scale of the world map.
Notes : lets you put notes on the map, similar to MapNotes.
Zone Info : on hovering over a zone, it will show the levels of the zone, the instances in the zone, their levels, and the group size the instance is made for (e.g. 5-man, 40-man).

hi umm.....u kinda gave me a "blizz" answer and have been ignoring all the ppl that're wondering about the "ZOOM" issue. if u could plz look into this. i've checked ALL my mods and it doesn't seem to be conflicting w/ any of them. it works just fine on one character but then i have issues on the other, i've Cloned my addon set up between the two toons and can't get it to work. if there is something in the Settings as to make it so i can do this i will be happy to check it. ty for your time, this is a great mod...when it's working

I'm sorry, to be more clear. I would like to resize the cartographer window to make it smaller or bigger to adjust to my screen.

There is an option in cartographer config window to adjust scale , maybe this is what you are looking for.

An issue for the " rigtn click problem ":
I'got the wowace client cartigrapher version and when I put the Curse client i've meat the problem.
I've delette all old cartographer folders in the program file > wow > interface > addon and reinstall by the Curse client all of them and now it's good.

Hi guys !
Well my problem is the instance notes none of them are working and was wondering why? When i'am on the character screen and click to my addon some of the files on the cata. red also when you shift click it doesnt do anything please guys HELP!!! T.Y. ur greatest fan

not so flawlessly here >.<

cart won't close by using the bound key. eg, i've bound 'm' to cart. it opens fine but i need to click the 'x' or press escape to close it.
also, when i use cart it resets the posistion of the waypoint to the centre of the screen.

great addon, hope this helps identify a couple more bugs.

Was wondering if Cartographer could be updated to show the invasion points? It would be cool but not 100% necessary.

Loving Cartographer; thanks for all the effort with this addon.

I'm not having any problems, but have one request/question. Does anyone know of a way to have the [map shown] action close all other panels? I think this is the default behavior of the blizzard map, and I have grown accustomed to the behavior.

Zooming working, Skulls showing, and selection of instance maps possible.

My issues are that location menu seems not to show sub-category locations, and even cityes not showing at all. For example, all instances are under an empty text category.

And ZoneInfo doesn't work or doesn't show any information.

Also get the cartographer.lua error message on first cartographer load or cleaning WTF folder or just WTF cartographer data.

I use Spanish WoW, and my addon list is:

- Cartographer
- Auctioneer
- Fubar
- RicoMiniMap
- Dominos
- OmniCC
- RedRange
- X-Perl Unit Frames
- Routes

Except RicoMiniMap, all installed/updated using Curse Client without Curse Profiler addon.

Ok i got my cartographer up and runnin seems to be doin fine but i'm missing the herbalism/mining data mods everyone have a link to them i can't seem to find them searchin for herb in wowace gives nuthin =(

Before "Echos of Doom" my cartographer had the ability to track all herbs and mining nodes in all areas. It made going on my daily farming runs much easier. I was wondering if this feature was removed with the new cartographer? (By new I mean post "Echos of Doom.)

My Cartographer don´t seem to be working right...
When I Zoom out, I want to Zoom in on another content or area. When I click to zoom in I come back to the area where IM in, and not the one I wanted.

Same thing happens when I zoom out 2 times...

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this one.

It's not an error exactly.

But old notes from before the patch continue to show up even after deleting them...

I've deleted my WTF folder, I've also deleted all my addons and installed the updated Cart and the notes still appear...

I'm at my wits end on it.

No, that addon isn't maintained anymore. Neither are any of the Cartographer profession addons.

i have not had problems with the skulls not showing up...but i cannot run cartopgrapher addins for it such as quests and quest objectives......i really dont care for the design of 3.0 so is there an update coming for the extras that are needed to be abel to get the full benefits of cartographer....really miss my extended quest information.....thanks
