Broker_Compass
Broker_Compass is a data broker feed that shows the player's orientation.
- icon: rotating arrow
- text: either short or long text (NW / Northwest)
- value: orientation in degrees
- Left-click: toggle short/long direction names.
- Alt Left-click: change arrow icon.
Update frequency can be changed by /run Broker_CompassDB.updateDelay = x (needs reload). The default is 0.1 secs (10 fps).
Thanks to the-golem (aka dc_roenfanz) for the superb north arrow.

Posted Feb 17, 2024How does one use this with Titan Panels? It is installed but does not appear as a Plug-In. I see it listed as an installed add-on but it does not work.
Thank you.

Posted Oct 27, 2016There seems to be an issue with patch 7.1, this is the error BugSack catches as soon as I load into the game:

Posted Oct 28, 2016At first glance it seems to be fixed.
I'll take it for a bit of an extended journey later today and will report back in case of any issues.
Thanks for the quick fix! ;)
edit: Did some world questing and dungeoneering, everything works fine :)

Posted Feb 3, 2016I can not get this to load. I do not see it on my screen anywhere. I ran the command you have in the description and reloaded but nothing happened. It is loaded, but it is not in my list of addons I can edit via the interface/addon menu. What am I doing wrong?

Posted Feb 4, 2016Do you have an LDB display addon installed? (like Bazooka: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/bazooka )

Posted Nov 20, 2010The [NW | N | NE] style text display is implemented in the latest release. The same for the icon cannot be done presently, as it causes issues with borker displays. I recommend you use the Compass addon from wowi you linked if you need such a compass.
cheers,
mitch

Posted Nov 12, 2010Adding nBrokerCompass style text based "military compass" mode would be easy, I'll add that soonish. The fubar-compass style rotating image is not really possible with the current LDB spec. I'll check how well a simplified version of that looks (it won't have border and middle tick).
cheers,
mitch
