Posted Feb 5, 2013Very good addon, but I'm having one problem so far. I've configured it to announce the buff/flask status to Raid chat on readycheck, but it's still only outputting it privately to myself. If i do a manual buff/flask check it works fine, just not on a readycheck. Is this normal?

Posted Feb 1, 2013Custom channel output is to direct output to a custom server chat channel, not directly to a local window. However you can create a new window, /join a custom channel and enable it only in that window, and then direct BigBrother to send output to that server channel.

By default it will report only to self, but you can enable report output to Raid.

What i mean is when someone is feared or i MD a target it has all the cross raid icons in chat. was wondering if this was customisable?

Posted Jan 10, 2013The cross icons are there when you MD a target who is not marked as a tank, which is usually considered "A Mistake". Same thing if a non-tank breaks a CC'd mob.
Best solution is to mark the player as a tank if it's their job to take aggro and break CCs, or if it's not then "don't do that" :-)

Posted Dec 3, 2012broken in 5.1 for me. shows 'you aren't in a party'. i isolated it down to this addon. shows up any time big brother has anything to report such as misdirecting on the tank and that option is active.

Note that LFR/LFG are no longer a raid or party in 5.1 - if you want to report there you need to enable report to "instance".

Posted Jan 2, 2013Pretty sure there are no taint issues in the subset of Ace2 used by this addon (and incidentally BB uses a currentlly-maintained branch of Ace2, not the long-abandoned mainline).

Check out RaidBuffStatus, which provides that functionality and nicely complements BigBrother.

Now that there are only the 8 set buffs, an auto-reminder to my forgetfull druid would be awesome :)
