Bartender4
Bartender4 is a full ActionBar replacement mod. It provides you with all the features needed to fully customization most aspects of your action and related bars.
Major Changes since Dragonflight / 10.0
- Hold-to-cast is not currently available for addons
- Action Bars have been slightly re-arranged in Bartender4 for Dragonflight and beyond
- Bar 1-8 now reflect Blizzard Bars 1-8 (these are old 1, 3-6, and the 3 new bars)
- The old bars 7-10 are now called "Class Bar 1-4" (Shapeshifting, Stances, etc)
- The old bar 2 is now called Bonus Action Bar

FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Posted Dec 2, 2025When placing/editing housing decor, unable to use keybinds if they overlap with a keybind on the action bar. E.g. cannot use R to remove an item if R is bound to an item on bartender action bar (but it's possible to bind R to both a regular keybind and a housing keybind).

Posted Dec 2, 2025I just logged in after Tuesday's Patch (Player Housing) and I noticed that Bartender's mini map button is missing. I know that typing /BT will bring up the control center. Is there a slash command that will bring up the edit mode where all the action bars enabled or disabled appear as transparent green bars?

Posted Dec 2, 2025Hey! I noticed that having Bartender enabled while using the decoration interface says "You can't take actions right now." I disabled the affected bar that I was trying to use (in BT menu) but the problem persisted. Right now BT isn't usable while trying to decorate

Posted Dec 2, 2025I'm not sure if this is actually a Bartender4 bug or not, but upon logging into today, I have a "ghost" action bar kind of hovering in the lower middle of the screen, with the Blizzard art assets on either side of it (the griffins).
It also has the controls for switching from one action bar to the next on it, and doing so affects the actual action bars, but that's it.
I have tried disabling every single action bar in turn, but no matter which ones I turn off, this one remains.

I was able to remove the art bar and the bar scrolling by going into /editmode - the frame for bar 1 was active at the bottom of the screen. I selected that Bar1 and ticked the box for "Hide Bar Art and Hide Bar Scrolling". save the settings and they're both gone.

Posted Nov 25, 2025Installed both WoW Classic and Curseforge today. Ironically feeling nostalgic for the early 00's and tried to run Bartender - saying 'out of date' in-game. Known issue? Something I need to change? Finding this with many of the OG add ons I am trying to install and use

From memory, bar 12 is the shaman totem bar. Spell restrictions on these slots make it unusable for other classes.

"Midnight is not supported. Blizzard vastly limited addon functionality, and unless or until they provide improvements that allows Bartender4 to work, it will not be updated."
