Bartender4
Bartender4 is a full ActionBar replacement mod. It provides you with all the features needed to fully customization most aspects of your action and related bars.
Major Changes since Dragonflight / 10.0
- Hold-to-cast is not currently available for addons
- Action Bars have been slightly re-arranged in Bartender4 for Dragonflight and beyond
- Bar 1-8 now reflect Blizzard Bars 1-8 (these are old 1, 3-6, and the 3 new bars)
- The old bars 7-10 are now called "Class Bar 1-4" (Shapeshifting, Stances, etc)
- The old bar 2 is now called Bonus Action Bar

FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

This should've been resolved in the latest versions, and the cooldown be the full size of the buttons. Make sure you are up to date

Posted Oct 29, 2022Is it possible that you can adjust the ledge length on the Blizzard art ledges? Therefore with the Modern Art. Classic that instead of 24 skills length you can only do 18? Can you maybe implement that? :-)

Posted Oct 29, 2022Bartender is the best. New Blizz UI is fine, but BT is still better and with more options. Only one prob I have: on mage, portal an teleport buttons are not working. They are suppose to show portal and teleport options (where to open portal and teleport), but they are not. Fix please..?

Posted Oct 28, 2022When I have Bartender enabled, mouse clicking is not registering half of the time :(
edit: I figured it out. I had bartender's empty bars in the center of my screen. I had to unenable them(even though they were invisible) because I was technically clicking the bars so it wasn't registering that I was trying to move lol

I love your addon, GF didnt wanna play wow cus of the user interface change.
She loved the way you made it back to the way it was again.
There is one feature we cant find though
When you dont have an ability on the bars you cant see the bar at all
She was just wondering if you can help with this or adding as a feature soon
I believe blizzard has a tickbox option on there UI and it is called 'Always Show Buttons'
Is this possible with Bartender 4?

You can set this for every bar indivdually - check the bar you want to configurel, and check "Button Grid"

Posted Oct 28, 2022Is it possible that switching specializations is not working properly at the moment?
When I drag a new ability onto a bar in one spec, and then switch specs, the new ability is suddenly present in the other spec as well.
Even worse, if I switch from one spec to another where I don't have certain abilities and then back to the first spec, all the abilities that didn't exist in the second spec are gone from my bars in the first spec.
And it doesn't seem to make any difference whether I have spec profiles enabled or not.

Hey Cthylla11111, in the meantime, I was able to further isolate the problem on my end, and it doesn't seem to be a Bartender problem, but a general WoW problem.
I described it in more detail in this post in the Blizzard support forum.
If your problem is identical or similar, you can post something there and maybe we will get an answer from support.
If you found a solution, I would be grateful for any information :)

I've tried with the code from various Google searches with no joy, it just hides the bar and doesn't show it ever:

I have a problem with pagination. When I want a bar to change state based on my character's status.
For example, that "bar 1" becomes "bar 2" when I camouflage myself.
In the paging list, the bars do not match at all, "bar 6", "bar 7" and "bar 8" do not match its bars.
Anyone else have this concern?
