FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

The next update should make it more consistent by automatically migrating keybindings.
As of the 10.0 wow patch, hunter pop-out spells (see screenshots) no longer function if dragged into Bartender bars. Clicking on them does not reveal the submenu. This was working fine in 9.2.7

I'm having this issue too, as well as not being able to hold shift and move abilities. So now I have to place pets on my bars if I want to use them
Why exactly doesn't the button lock setting save? I'd appreciate it if my buttons would stop locking all the time. However, I really appreciate the continued development of Bartender. The new action bars are still not quite up to snuff.
In reply to CommandoCat64:
Unlocking your bars has several downsides, especially when combined with cast on press (the new Blizzard default).
You can still drag spells by holding Shift at any time without the buttons being unlocked. This overrides the lock and gives you safety from accidentally moving things around, and avoids the other downsides in combination with cast-on-press.
Would love it if i could change the width of the XP bar. The scaling option changes height too, but i only want ot change the width.
In reply to Siven80:
On retail you can change the width of the status tracking bar, which contains the XP bar.

I was using Dominos and got the sad news that the author won't be updating. I thought I would give this one a try.
I use a Razer Tartarus v2 so if there was a way to create 1 bar w/ 19 buttons that works best for me. (currently, I'm using 1 bar 2x10 and a second bar 1x9). It's workable, but I haven't played my druid yet. Any tips would be appreciated or video recommendations.
The thing I'm actually having an issue with. I move my spells a ton during this time in wow as I get the flow of how my rotation will work. Whenever I drag a spell off the bar, the spell casts. I'm not sure how its doing that. If you pull a spell from the spell book it doesn't cast. Is there a modify key or something I should be using. I did try shift but the spells still cast. Any info would be great.
In reply to Nickyjean01:
There is a setting in Bartender that is doing this. I don't know if this is a new setting or not, but I had the same issue. In Bartender options, click on Bars, then uncheck the checkbox for "Toggle actions on keypress instead of release"
In reply to syeborge:
Thank you that was it. :)

On my characters, the class bars and bars 7-9 are definitely separate bars now. My stealth bar used to be bar 7, but now it's class bar 1 and I'm using bar 7 for other things.
after prepatch, my hunter abilities with dropdown menus don't work (call pet and whatever the other one is called)
Would you please consider making a preset "Modern Art, Pre-DF interface"? Basically position everything the way it was before prepatch came out (especially the action bars), but keep the new artwork?
In reply to Shushudaa:
why, the old artwork is much better
In reply to VulgarAngryToxic:
Sure, I just want old positions, I don't care about artwork tbh. Currently there are only presets for Classic positions, Modern positions and custom stacks. There's none for pre-DF, which is the one that many people want. ^^
In reply to Shushudaa:
Isn't that basically the same layout, just with smaller buttons? I forget how exactly the SL layout looked, as I've been running my own all these years.
