FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I'm a mage, I want to have all my teleport/portal spells on a bar, and have the bar shown or hidden, via macro button, is there a command to show or hide bars?
Hello, I have a problem I really hope you can help with.
Sometimes when entering raids/dungeons og just simply logging in, some of my abilities on a few bars scramble or get removed. It seems like it's always the same bars and abilities. It looks like it changes to the way my bars used to look or the way it looked when I installed bartender the first time.
Really hope someone knows the answer, so I don't have to change my bars every day.
In reply to Fedekielle:
Same problem here, latest update most likely caused it for me, each time i log in/off, swap spec or even start a mythic plus previous i lose recent modification such as old talent i have in my bars or macro i use into for dungeons
Is there a way to have profile switch change the actions associated with a button. As an example, have two profiles setup: PvE and PvP. Depending on which profile is active, Bar 1 Button 1 would be either Mangle or Healing Touch
Any chance the broken latency display on BCC will be fixed? The bars are transparent instead of green/yellow/red.
Edit:
I see someone has already proposed a fix under issues, I tried their suggestion and it works. :D
In reply to theAnton81:
This fix still throws a blocked action error, which Swatter only displays once, but I can live with that.
Does anyone know if the new version released just now fixes it, nothing is mentioned in the changelog?
In reply to theAnton81:
Nope, the bug is still there..
I reapplied the fix to the new version and it still works.
In reply to theAnton81:
Btw, does anyone know a fix for the missing arrows and bar numbers just right of the main bar? It's mostly a minor cosmetic issue, but still..
I was looking around and I couldn't find an answer to this, so I apologize in advance if this is posted somewhere. If it is, kindly point me in that direction :)
Anyway... I was doing Kara last night in Classic TBC and during the chess event, my bars would not change in order to control any of the pieces. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing that I need to engage? I thought it may be part of the mount configuration (like the tanks in WotLK) but I didn't see anything.
Hello, I have a problem with action bars 1 and 9, and it only happens with the druid so far, all the skills that I put in bar number 1 are repeated in bar number 9,
practically bar 9 is unusable for this reason .
Hello, I'm having an issue only on some of my characters where the empty button slots will always be showing. The button grid is unchecked and the profile is the same on my warlock as it is on my shaman, however my shamans empty button slots are not always showing. I also checked my blizzard interface settings to confirm always show action bars is unchecked. Any suggestions? Thank you!
This might be an odd question, but is it possible to reverse the order of a Bar? I used to use TukUI and here's an example of how the side bars functioned:
And with bartender, it looks like this:
If you see the top left icon on Bartender (Ravager) is actually the bottom right in TukUI - it seems like they had some sort of "Bar Reversal" option for the sidebars, and in keeping things "consistent" through my UIs I was wondering if this is an option or way to do this - I've played with the rows option/etc but I couldn't seem to find a way to do this.
Thanks!
In reply to DomDashSix:
After comparing against Dominos it appears this functionality is referred to as the following:
by unchecking "Layout Buttons from Left to Right" and "Layout Buttons from Top to Bottom" I'm able to replicate this functionality of what I'm looking to achieve, although would much prefer the ability to do this from within Bartender4.
Hopefully this makes sense - just trying to show/give some comparison!
Unfortunately, today's update for BCC does not appear to fix the problems I'm seeing. I'm not getting any LUA errors reported, but I'm seeing two copies of every bar - one (empty) copy that is manageable via Bartender4, and one (populated) copy that is not. Further, the populated copies are located at fairly arbitrary places on the screen - for example, the populated micromenu is centered top/bottom on my screen, slightly right of center - the B4-managed micromenu placeholder is exactly where I configured it to be.
New Lua error with the new update.

Just updated to newest version (4.10.8-classic) and upon logging in I get the following LUA error: "Message: AceLocale-3.0: Bartender4: Missing entry for 'Reputation Bar'" There was also a LUA error when opening up the options.
Installing the previous version (4.10.7-classic) fixed these issues.
Addon no longer working after last update. Started a few days to a week ago with me not being able to self cast by using either the click option and or right click option to self cast and then with this last update can no longer launch and or see any bars using / commands
In reply to Fubar90:
I had to downgrade (install the old version) to get it to work at all but when I did I got these 6 errors.
