FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

In reply to KerashiStorm:
Thanks a lot for the temp workaround.
After the update today it's not displaying my soulshard count, just shows a 0 on spells that use them, thanks.
Edit: Also the ping color bars seem to not show sometimes, they are just transparent.
In reply to Venomisto:
Same thing happened to me. Did you find out how to fix them or turn the counters off?

Same. Classic version.
With the new release today, you are not able to see the Keyring with Bartnerder4 enabled.
Is there a option for Key Ring in Classic? I dont see my key ring with the latest patch

I appear to be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what.
The bar I have designated to change to switch when possessing does not change when I Mind Control a target. I've attempted to eliminate as many custom settings as I can to isolate the problem, but I can't get the bar to switch.
Current settings
12 buttons
Alpha 100%
always visible
State Configuration: Bar Paging -- Possess Bar checked
no modifier switching.
Is there something I'm missing?
Edit: This is still not working and I still don't understand why.
The Mind Controlled target's actions appear where the pet bar should be and I cannot seem to change this behavior. I've hidden the "pet bar without pet" and "when possessing", but the bar appears every time when I Mind Control. The bar I have designated as my possess bar still DOES NOTHING. If I disable the pet bar, I have no abilities to use from the target. How do I control the target with Bar 1?!

BUMP! Still not working as intended!
What is the modifier/key combo to move something from one button to another without triggering it? I thought it was shift+right, but that didn't work.
Is there a way that you can move the buttons individually? I would prefer to have the buttons line up exactly as they do on the keyboard for example, but I can't seem to offset each button by itself to accomplish that. (retail)
Further, it seems that the bars always have their anchor point in the top left, which is very annoying if you want to align bars at specific distances from each other while remaining centered exactly. You'd essentially have to calculate the precise width (which is impossible, because we have no access to this data) of each bar and then calculate the distance you want between bars, instead of just saying "Okay, this bar has its anchor top right, I will place it 10 pixels left of the center. The bar next to it has its anchor top left, and I will place it 10 pixels to the right of the center. Now I have exactly 20 pixels between them and the entire setup is sure to be centered horizontally."
does anyone know what might be causing the right click self cast not to be working?
-Classic WoW
bump
First of all, much thanks for this great addon!
Now to my question:
I would like to have a bar with a single button on it, fishing. That's easily sorted ofc, but, now I would like to set a custom condition for when to show that bar (button) and I am quite noobish when it comes to macros.
Could some kind soul show me how to write a condition that only shows that bar when I equip a fishing pole, please?
I'm using BT4 for classic wow.
Does anyone know if there is a way to add a custom command to be executed before all button presses on a specific bar ?
(I want to use /cancelform for all the skills on a bar without having to create 12 macros)
Thanks
I'm using this add-on for Classic Wow.
No problem when using Priest, Warlock, or Wizard
However, there is a problem when using Warrior.
A shortcut is placed on Action Bar 1, and a shortcut is placed on Action Bar 7.
Thus, the shortcut is removed from the action bar 7, and the shortcut is removed from the action bar 1 at the same time.
The same thing happens if you reverse it.
Is this a bug? Or I want to know if it's a problem with wow.
In reply to virgo7594:
i got the same issue as ohnno stated. really triggers me. :((((
Currently running this on classic and ALMOST everything is perfect.
But the one thing not working is a dealbreaker for PVP
When I get cc'd (fear, sap, poly etc), ALL of my buttons go into a red "Loss of Control" cd override and I can no longer take stock of my cd's while cc'd.
Is there any way to disable this? Maybe through state config or something?
Desperately need a fix :(
In reply to ohnno:
PS: I've isolated this to Bartender, since it stops happening if I turn Bartender off and leave all my other addons on.
FYI I am running OmniCC and also ClassicAuraDurations (both staples in classic and pvp)
In reply to ohnno:
Just a thought because I just ran across the option - Bartender4 settings open, if you select each bar and go to the State Configuration tab, is it Enabled? and if so, is the Possess Bar box checked?
I have no idea if this will do anything for you or not.
