FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Why do some of my bars copy other bars?
Do you plan on Supporting the zone ability button?
I have the same question
Having two issues with BT:
1) In terms of displaying the keybind, the bars don't read my keybinds that are setup in the default wow windows - is there a way to do this so I don't have to setup keybinds all the time? I have everything setup perfectly with the default keybinds but I can't get the shortcut keys to actually display on BT unless I use BT to edit keybinds.
2)
My bar 1 has started randomly disappearing. It seems to be related to a state or stance configuration but the settings perfectly mirror other buttons yet it reacts different. On my paladin, it started disappearing when i changed glyphs - I noticed it came back when I put my seal back on. On my mage, it's just gone and won't come back. I can see it if I unlock and the buttons still react, it's just hidden. I don't know how to fix this or what went wrong. Not getting any LUA errors but it started in an arena, happened again in a raid, and just now on mage while out in the wilds.Edit: I found the stance option - it only appears if you're logged into a character with a stance, so you have to swap characters to fix it.Hello. I have a problem with Bartender recently. RALT occasionally (rather often) stops working as modifier of self-cast on main bar only (bar #1), yet it works perfectly fine on any other bar. Like ability on main bar, hotkeyed to 9. RALT+9 - will work sometimes, but usually wont. LALT + 9 will work 100% time. No conflicting keybindings. Checked full main bar (moved ability to each slot and tested). Bar #6, hotkeyed to Shift+Q for example - works always with RALT. LALT seems to work always on any bar. Having bartender disabled I wasn't able to reproduce RALT behavior.
Could you take a look into that? I have automatic selfcasts disabled, and ALT button as a modifier for self-casting set in Blizzard settings.
I am having a problem with my profiles carrying over with each log out session.
Each time that I log back on, I have to go under Profiles and select the current character profiles rather than it loading automatically. It is really annoying when bouncing between characters, that I have to keep re-selecting the bar profiles.
Not sure if the data is being saved properly, and this started happening as of Monday (Dec 29).
Hello,
Apparnetly MoveAnything makes the Bartender4 "MicroMenu" disappear. You can see the frame, but you can not see any of the buttons in the frame. Disabling MoveAnything allowed all the buttons to appear normally again. Posting this for anyone else who was trying to figure this out and for both Authors, as an FYI.
UPDATE: I started a brand new character on a completely different realm, and had Bartender as the only enabled addon. It still did not save the key bindings. It seems as though there is something going on globally.
this page says that Bartender 4 is compatible with 6.0.3, but my keybindings aren't being saved after I log out or exit. but my general keybindings (i.e. movement) aren't being saved either. not sure if this is a Bartender, WoW or other problem, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
Having the same problem with the profiles saving, keeps reverting to default one.
I have problem with pets on hunter. When im trying dismiss my pet it shows i cant do that beacuase bllizard ui is blocking that action. After /reload everything is fine
I've been having a problem with the Stance Bar on my Alt characters. The profile for my main character's stance bar works perfectly and I can enable and disable it. When I log onto my alts I use my main's profile, but I cannot even click on the Stance Bar on them to disable or enable it. This is very irritating and I'm wondering if there is any solution to this?
Is there no 5.4.2 version?
@ PINCHOCL
It is possible to hide and coustimize them bars very much in the settings panel (under visibility) for them bars so yes!. :D
Is it possible to hide the bars if no spell is on them? If not could you add this feature?
doesnt work with razer naga addon? any fix for this or am i going to have to give up bartender after 4 years?
Been having a problem since the expansion launched that my spell cooldowns are not updating until i leave combat or press the spell again. I'll use dash on my druid and it will show ready until i leave combat then the cooldown will show. Anyone else having this problem?
Is it possible to allow Bar 1 to be disabled while in Treant Form, but when you leave Treant Form, whatever bar you have it set to - is then disabled? I'm tying to make a bar for dungeons, and a bar for soloing. So far I have no avail on this and its getting very discouraging. :(
You can create a bar for "caster" stance (when not in a form) and have it change to that.
The paging functions work very well with Druids, I use them all the time. As long as you have enough bars, you can have a separate one for each stance, just hide them or use the paging function to roll through them based on your stance.
Good Luck.
Great add-on thanks. I cant delete certain profiles, only 3/7 show up under Profiles>Delete a Profile.
I have several profiles I use for pvp-pve w/diff toons so a fix would be great.
