FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Hi people!
I have figured out a way to "fix" the problem with warriors on PTR. It`s not a real fix rather just a "backdoor patch" to be able to use Bartender's configuration UI. So those who face the following error:
Message: ...nfig-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0.lua:1803: AceConfigRegistry-3.0:ValidateOptionsTable(): Bartender4.args.bars.args.1.args.state.args.stances.args.berserker.name: expected a string or funcref, got 'nil'
should try my "fix" which is:
edit your ...\Interface\Addons\Bartender4\StateBar.lua file
so that line 87 will look like this:
-- { id = "berserker", name = GetSpellInfo(2458), index = 3, type = "form"},
So basically you comment out the line by putting the -- at the beginning of the line.
Since I have Prot/Arms dualspec I don`t need Berserker Stance anyway.
I suppose, though I haven`t tested it myself , people should comment out the line of the stance which one's warrior is not talented into or maybe the problem occurs only with Berserker Stance.
I hope this works for you guys as well, it sure works for me.
Until the addon author fixes BT4 this "fix" of mine will make you be able to use this great addon. :)
I don't have any error info for it, but the paging doesn't work in the PTR/Beta version. The spells switch and all, but while paged, I can't click anything.
EDIT: My page button is CTRL.
EDIT 2: I got it to work. For some reason, I had to hold my paging modifier and bind the same keys again.
One of my addons got corrupt and I had to reinstall all of my addons. Are the character specific layouts stored in a file that I could copy back over to the new Bartender folder so that I don't have to reconfigure all of the different layouts for my toons?
i have download it over and over again with no avail that it can work i have tried many ways to attach the file but non have work.
ok so my bartender4 addon works only for 2 out 3 of my toons does anyone know why? ive been trying everything but for some reason my last toon cant use bartender and i would like to start using it to level up my character..please if anyone knows message me asap!!!
You may be able to just open bartender with /bartender and then reset the character's profile in bartender. You will have to redo your bar set up but it should allow you to use bartender and not have the origianal blizzard UI in the way. I hope that fixes your issue.
so i have the latest version installed and i tried to open the settings so i can take blizzard's standard ui action bars and artwork off my screen... but everytime i try to open it with /bt or /bartender i get a message in chat saying type /help for help. What do i do to fix this and let me adjust my bartender?
Hi, I got the following error message upon trying to set the focus on a player, out of combat.
Thanks

Hi again, after some more digging: uninstalling addon "Chatter" seems resolve that issue.
Sorry for the noise, and thanks a lot for the utterly useful Bartender!

I am using the WoD Beta file provided above "Bartender4_4.6.0_Beta1_WoD.zip" on the current PTR release. When trying to bring up the Bartender Config (by using /bt) I get the following LUA Error:

When I run the Bartender4 add-on it makes all my purchased sacks disappear. I am also running OmegaMaps. I do see them at the mailbox and at the bank only. I am a Warrior.
Really odd. The addon works perfectly on the beta for me on most of my characters, but whenever I create a warrior the config stops working. I can leftclick on the minimap icon to move around the bars but I cant rightclick or type /bt to get to config. And this is ONLY on EVERY warrior that I create.
Works fine on all other classes...
Confirmed. Copied my warrior over to PTR today, and the config does not work. Works fine on my mage.
when i use Blizzard default key Binds it dues not show up on the add on is there even is i have hide unchecked i am i miss some thing here or the only way to see them and use the addon bindings
Can i suggest an option to change the name of the bars?
Any chance you'd know how to get WOD beta Libstub library to work in WoD BETA?

I do not like the setting for Rogue's Bartender because of Shadowdance with Vanish. Vanish should be with Stealth then that would be better.
Edited: YA RUINED SUBT PvP RIGHT NOW! I hate Vanish with Shadowdance at State Congfiguration. So... Vanish should be with Stealth because Vanish is Defense style than Shadowdance that are Offense. I Tried and show you my video from Cata best pvp for Subt's Bartender.
Hi there, longtime user of your addon here.
First off I'd like to say thankyou, for your hardwork. Most of us here, REALLY appreciate it.
Unfortunately, I've run into an issue with the pet-bar, it doesn't seem to be working. I mean, it's active and I can assign keybinds, move it around etc. It's just that I can't click it. Neither manually or with a keybind. Any idea what it can be?
