FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Hello there,
first of all thanks for the great work on this addon...then..I'm just having a little problem, I don't see at all the XP/Rep bar :( The bar is there,it's enabled, i can move it and everything, but when i press the "lock" button to confirm the changes and return to the game..everything remain where it is, visible and all..but..the XP bar disappear, when i go to the setup section it appear again, when i exit it disappear again.
Anything i'm doing wrong ?
Thanks in advance
Could Bartender adopt a true centering for its stance bar. Given that if you have 1-whatever buttons for stance. It seems impossible for Bartender to center them all across characters. Dominos did this, though much rather use Bartender. And would love if my stance bars all centered like they should. I tried pretty much all the anchors, which did not resolve the issue. So its just something Bartender does not have coded into it, I believe. I use a universal profile for all characters I use. I do this for every addon I use. Instead of having to fix everything for 15 characters. To just fix it once and be good.
hi :) when i make some changes at scale the action bar, it sont save it when i log into the game again then i can start all over again :S
Since patch 5.4 I have one annoying problem. After disabling one by one addon I finnaly come to conclusion it was Bartender's fault. There is an *invisible spot* at x=center y=1/3 of the top of the screen where it prevents my *right click to turn* happen. At that precise spot right click simply doesnt work.
Other than that, very good addon!
I am having a problem with Bartender 4 runing the new patch on windows 8.
here is the error message.

i tried downloading this on my mac...dragged and dropped into addons folder..
and its not showing up....
any ideas>
If you are trying to install addons to use, install the curse client. It manages and makes things much easier for many people.
* You must unzip the folder before adding it to \World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns. If you placed the folder in \World of Warcraft\Interface\ thats not the AddOns folder.
*And if you unzip a folder DO NOT pull the contents from that unzipped folder into the AddOns folder. Include the same folder everything came in to \World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns.
For the applicable bars you would set up paging between being IN and being OUT. For my spriest I do the very same thing. Heal spells all on one bar, then damaging spells on another. And if I am IN shadow it puts them : damaging bar, heal bar. OUT of shadow it puts them: heal bar, damaging bar. So for those two bars set them up to page swap. [bar] > State Configuration.
Just started to use Bartender, which I love but I have 1 problem.
When I play my Shadow Priest and I go into shadowform, I _DONT want my flash heal to be at number 1 at bar 1 - but I do want my flash heal to be number 1 at bar 1 when im _OUT_ of shadowform, how do I fix that?
In shadowform key 1 = Mind Blast
Out of shadowform key 1 = Flash heal
You can't dual spec keybind anymore.
For some bars that do not change with spec i use macro's. (not sure if it is still true, used to be just be primary stance bars that would be saved per spec) you can use [spec:1] or [spec:2] for bars that you use for both.
i cant focus anyone if i want to i need to disbale bartender anyone know how to fix it
Has anyone else had an issue with their keybinds? I use one bar that pages between a couple different ones using modifiers, but only the first page's keybinds are working. If i open up the other pages and reset the keybind on a single button, they all work again, but only until I reload my UI or log off.
I just downloaded the bartender apps and started WOW with it. But when I activated this app, I can't find any of my bars anywhere. When I disabled the app, I can see the apps. How do I fix it?
For me since the latest patch my micro menu has seven buttons on the top row and five on the bottom instead of 6 and 6. I also see the bet battle behavior described below.
Having the same issue, micro menu with 7 buttons on top and 5 on bottom, can't find a way to go back to 6 and 6. That's really annoying, especially after all the work i had to put my UI together.
The MicroMenu will be fixed in the next version, sorry for the trouble.
The problem is that Blizzard now has 13 buttons, however they always hide one, that confused Bartender a bit.
No trouble! Thanks so much for the wonderful addon and quick response
Whenever I enter a vehicle and it brings up the vehicle's action bar, the Micro Bar (buttons for Character, Guild, Talents, etc.) is showing at the bottom right of the Vehicle bar, partially blocking the "Exit Vehicle" button.
This is happening to me as well, depsite the fact that my micro bar is set to display at the top of my screen.
