FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I was looking around and I couldn't find an answer to this, so I apologize in advance if this is posted somewhere. If it is, kindly point me in that direction :)
Anyway... I was doing Kara last night in Classic TBC and during the chess event, my bars would not change in order to control any of the pieces. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing that I need to engage? I thought it may be part of the mount configuration (like the tanks in WotLK) but I didn't see anything.
Hello, I have a problem with action bars 1 and 9, and it only happens with the druid so far, all the skills that I put in bar number 1 are repeated in bar number 9,
practically bar 9 is unusable for this reason .
Hello, I'm having an issue only on some of my characters where the empty button slots will always be showing. The button grid is unchecked and the profile is the same on my warlock as it is on my shaman, however my shamans empty button slots are not always showing. I also checked my blizzard interface settings to confirm always show action bars is unchecked. Any suggestions? Thank you!
This might be an odd question, but is it possible to reverse the order of a Bar? I used to use TukUI and here's an example of how the side bars functioned:
And with bartender, it looks like this:
If you see the top left icon on Bartender (Ravager) is actually the bottom right in TukUI - it seems like they had some sort of "Bar Reversal" option for the sidebars, and in keeping things "consistent" through my UIs I was wondering if this is an option or way to do this - I've played with the rows option/etc but I couldn't seem to find a way to do this.
Thanks!
In reply to DomDashSix:
After comparing against Dominos it appears this functionality is referred to as the following:
by unchecking "Layout Buttons from Left to Right" and "Layout Buttons from Top to Bottom" I'm able to replicate this functionality of what I'm looking to achieve, although would much prefer the ability to do this from within Bartender4.
Hopefully this makes sense - just trying to show/give some comparison!
Unfortunately, today's update for BCC does not appear to fix the problems I'm seeing. I'm not getting any LUA errors reported, but I'm seeing two copies of every bar - one (empty) copy that is manageable via Bartender4, and one (populated) copy that is not. Further, the populated copies are located at fairly arbitrary places on the screen - for example, the populated micromenu is centered top/bottom on my screen, slightly right of center - the B4-managed micromenu placeholder is exactly where I configured it to be.
New Lua error with the new update.

Just updated to newest version (4.10.8-classic) and upon logging in I get the following LUA error: "Message: AceLocale-3.0: Bartender4: Missing entry for 'Reputation Bar'" There was also a LUA error when opening up the options.
Installing the previous version (4.10.7-classic) fixed these issues.
Addon no longer working after last update. Started a few days to a week ago with me not being able to self cast by using either the click option and or right click option to self cast and then with this last update can no longer launch and or see any bars using / commands
In reply to Fubar90:
I had to downgrade (install the old version) to get it to work at all but when I did I got these 6 errors.

But it does load now and I can use it to a point. the new version I can't get to load at all.
Is there a way to get the visual glow around an ability when you get a proc? I cannot seem to find anything about it without having to download other addons.
2x [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn 'Bartender4' tried to call the protected function 'MainMenuBar:originalShow()'.

Can you please be more descriptive....Where is the beta download?
I found what doctorwizzcurse wouldn't link: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/bartender4/files/3304620
Quick fix for TBC Classic Beta.
Search every LUA in the Bartender folder for this:
local WoWClassic = select(4, GetBuildInfo()) < 20000
And replace with this:
local WoWClassic = select(4, GetBuildInfo()) < 30000
Working fine for me so far with this, it just doesn't recognize TBC as being Classic because of this.
It may need some additional alterations going from Classic to TBC, but so far stable for me.
Edit: Here is a list of all files I updated that had that line in it.
