I used to be able to use the following command to sort a single tab of my guild bank:

/sort guild 3

Now when I use that command, it sorts like ... the first THREE bank tabs. It's really frustrating. I have my tabs sorted out by type, I deposit them manually, and then I used to just run the /sort command to organize each tab. I screwed up most of my tabs because I didn't catch that it changed how it sorts.

Is the "/sort guild #" no longer available, or what's changed?

This may be me missing something or just not understanding groups properly but here is what i want to do....

I would like to sort the guild bank putting ore and herbs on the second tab.  cloth and leather on the third tab. etc...

Can this be done?  

I love the functionality of this addon and will continue to use it, just would like to get the described functionality when i do a /sort guild.

Is there a way to get it to arrange my guild bank by item level first then by equip slot (IE, 414 shoulder, 414 mace, 397 chest, 350 ring, etc).  I just started over on a new server, and I'm keeping all the BOE items I get in my bank alt guild bank for when I get around to making an enchanter.  Once I do start DEing, I'd like to be able to just grab the BOEs out of the bank in order without needing to search through them to make sure I have all the items my character can DE.

Edit:  I was (kinda) able to get this functionality by editing the sort.lua so all the equip slots have a priority of 0.  Weapons and items of differing rarity are still sorted together, but still closer to what I'm looking for.

Any hope of updating this wonderful addon?  Now, every 1 in 5 sorts, I have to /reload ui to stop the addon from hanging.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN A GAME . UPDATE THIS ADD ON!!!

When I run Wow after deleting the Cache folder I have some issues, at the start the automatic sort doesn't work but it's ok because there are tooltips that are not loaded yet, but after that, when most or all the items are showing, if I use the automatic sort of this addon Wow get totally freezed and I have to close it with the task manager.

If you need more information to reply or to identify the bug please let me know.

Also, if you have, for instance, 2 kind of items: "a" and "b"  and they are in the bags in this order:

a a a b

And the addon wants to put the "b" at the start, then it sometimes does:

a a a b

a a b a

a b a a

b a a a

Instead of the logical optimal way:

a a a b

b a a a

This is important when you are sorting the guild bank since each step is slower there and if you have a lot of "a" stacks.

Anyway, this is a great addon, thank you so much for facilitating and saving our time.

I had the same problem. Started when I had to delete cach for NPC Scan. Solved it by deleting and reinstalling the addon.

I'm having the same problem. WoW freezes and I need to use to task manager to close it.

I use Bankstack like forever and it's the first time I have this type of problem. It's a great addon.

I only really use this addon for merging the inventory with the bank, arkinventory does the rest - but damn does it do a good job quickly! No errors ever!

edit: The minimap button needs to be movable, not just in a circle. At the moment it's in the middle of the minimap for me. 

It's happening even more frequently with freezes now.  At least 1 in 6 stacks, I have to reload my ui for this addon to work.  Just an FYI.  Hopefully I can either understand what I am doing wrong, or a fix can be issued.

This is by far one of the most useful addons in wow.  Thank you very much for this.

For about the last 3 weeks, when I use /sort about 20 percent of the time now, I have to /reload ui because bankstack hangs.  It begins to sort about 3 items, then ceases to move.  When I try to run it again, it tells me that it is already running.  Anyone else have this problem?  I had seen this before but it only happened VERY rarely.  Now, much, much more.

Hey, I've used this addon for years. I've recently got back into WoW and when I try to sort my guild tabs, it's insanely slow. I remember a long time ago, someone posted a script (I think on Wow Ace?) that I could copy and paste into the addon config file in the wow folder (or something like that). this script made sorting things like 10x faster and it was wonderful. now if I turn off the cautious guild option it's decently fast but it always stops sorting after like 10-20 sorts. I'm really hoping you could get this addon to sort guild tabs as fast as it sorts normal bags one day without the freezes.

same here, sometimes 5 items (in guildbank) are moved, sometimes more... 

not sure if maybe i'm missing something in the options but is there any way to hide the chat spam? i love the addon but if i'm in a conversation and happen to open the bank it auto sorts (i want it to do that) and spams my chat with each item moved. at one ponit i think it just said somthing like "50 moves" and just did it.

Quick question.
I've noticed that some things aren't logically grouped together. 
Golden Lotus aren't grouped with the other herbs (though all other herb types are grouped one after the other).
Enchanting materials are all separated (Shards are not grouped next to Essence which aren't grouped next to Dust).  All the individual mats are grouped together, just not all the enchanting materials combined are next to one another.   Is this something that will need to be done with a custom Grouping?  Is there a forums or support document for customizations like these?

This is still very awesome and I appreciate the great addon! 

I've a pretty serious problem with BankStack that causes it to completely crash my game client whenever I hit the sort button.  On occasion I get a global error, but most of the time it completely wrecks the game.

Can (or should) I post the error here?
