What is Atlasloot_Source

Atlasloot_Source is an official plugin for AtlasLoot, made by the AtlasLoot team itself, that shows the source of an item below its default tooltip. Although this addon closely related to AtlasLoot it does not require AtlasLoot to be installed!

Features

Shows the drop location of an item.
Shows the source of an item (for example Midsummer Festival or Darkmoon Faire).
Shows the profession, skill and required reagents for a craftable item.
Shows the costs of items that are sold by vendors.
Shows the item ID (disabled by default).
Tooltip colors are customizable.

To-Do

Enhance Crafting tooltips.
Add localizations.
Integrate user suggestions.

Known Bugs

Recipes show drop locations twice.
Some bosses and instances have a #B# behind their names.

May we have this updated for wow classic, please. I would do it myself but I don't know how to back-port or make an addon I get impatient and mad at it so don't really do it but would like to learn.

Have anyone here figiured out a way for this to actually show drop locations of MoP-gear? Or found a working replacement addon?

This addon only shows me gear from reputation vendors, professions and tier 14 raid drops. Nothing from Throne of Thunder or Siege of Orgrimmar, nor the quest-boots from Sha of Anger.

hi there. currently playing wow In south korea. right now, this addon is not working for me even with Atlasloot.

So here is the solution that I found on google search.
try AtlasLootReverse with AtlasLoot enhanced

It works perfectly for me.

Perhaps it works fine for you (and it does for me, for older cata and older content), but it doesn't show sources for current content/MoP for me.

Any info regarding updating this add-on being updated? I really miss the tooltips... esp. for my mining ores...It was wonderful having a tooltip that indicated the source ores for gems.. I miss this aspect of AtlasLoot so much! Please give us an update soon...

I was looking for any update on the progress or status of this addon. It seems as if other things/addons have taken priority. Will there be an update? Anyone know of an alternative addon that does something similar?

We are working on MoP update but AtlasLoot had priority. We will definitely release an updated version soon.

4.3 update is finally out. We have renamed the addon to AtlasLoot_Source as it fits much better. The addon remains in beta status because there are still many bugs to fix. We are also revamping most of the code base to make it easier to update. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.
