AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot

@Anorax: I don't have any frame conflicts, so I'm not sure what your advice is aimed at... I only have problems with single-function 1-button mods taking 5MB of memory to run 10 lines of code.
Admittedly this addon does far more and therefore requires much more coding, but now I've see just how much my system's performance has improved after ditching Ace2 I'll never install anything that requires it again. And besides, as can be seen, as all the authors include the libs they need but there's no way to guarantee which one gets loaded, all hell can break loose. If Ace2 WAS installed as a proper seperate dependency, then at least it would be easy and obvious when it came to updating - but I guess the Ace2 team don't see things that way themselves. :(
@RealUnimportant I disagree completely. Ace2 is supposed to be embeddable (only one instance is loaded, if another addon has already loaded the library, nothing happens), and it is definately not bloatware. I am slowly replacing buggy code that I wrote over a year ago with tried and tested code. For example, the number of bugs reported due to a translation of all the various text strings missing has dropped to zero (now automatically falls back to english), next on the hit list is my dodgy and frequently buggy saved variable implementation. Slowly, I will make more and more use of what is included. It all started from wanting to embed the FuBar plugin into the main mod and replace my dodgy minimap button with mature code, and it grew from there.
It also greatly reduces the workload required for me maintain the mod, as many common translations can be taken care of via Babble.
Ace2 is not listed as a dependancy as it is embedded in the mod, I should probably add it and all the other libraries as optional deps though.
@Neskiairti I am wondering, did you remove or edit the 'Libs' folder in AtlasLoot as it seems none of the libraries are loading for you.
ugh.. that didnt help.. now its doing something differnt. ;.; 36 errors all like this... on a differnt toon.. what did you do to atlasloot? x.x poor addon.. so abused
Error: attempt to call global 'AceLibrary' (a nil value) File: ...Ons\AtlasLoot\DefaultFrame\AtlaslootDefaultFrame.lua Line: 12 Count: 1
Error: attempt to call global 'AceLibrary' (a nil value) String: AtlasLootDefaultFrame:OnLoad Count: 1
Oh dear... Why did you have to go and ruin this perfectly good mod by making it dependant on the Ace2 framework? And worse, why do you not say in the dependancies that this is now an Ace2-based project? By embedding all the libs inside AtlasLoot you're going against the concept of the project, and bloating this mod out of all proportion by including so many functions that just aren't needed.
I can't get Metamap to work at all, or I'd have switched to that - as it stands, I'll just have to forego knowing what loot might drop from which boss. I've just salvaged 5 megabytes (fully a quarter!) of addon memory by deleting just 3 mods that had no use for the majority of the Ace2 library framework, I'm not putting it back even for this. :(
Silly thing is, aside from the Scarlet Monestary's split maps, the old un-Ace2'd AtlasLoot still works fine for me...
@Xephril There are a few Blizz UI bugs that are due to be fixed in patch 2.1.2 and I suspect that is one of them. I can't replicate the problem.
@jaac Nothing to do with AtlasLoot, its all to do with your item cache. Possibly the file size was too big and WoW ran a cleanup routine.
@Neskiairti I suggest you go into your WTF folder and delete folder inside with the name of character that can't load the Addon. That should 'reset' thinks for just that character.
@Galvin Item ID is fine. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30322 And 30322 is in Atlasloot. Sry I have no idea what your problem is :(
Ok, I am getting some kind of bug thta really isn't doing anything but keeps saying
Tainted addon: AtlasLoot
Tainted function: UIParent:SetAttribute()
And at random times so I don't know what specifically is causing it.
Under Seprentshrine cavern trash loot drops.
plans:red belt of battle kicks me off the server. yet someone that has the blacksmithing plans was able to link it to me.
I cant get the item ID since rating buster doesn't show it from an item that was linked.
and to note, it works fine on other characters.. but not one specific character.
well, the version that works.. is the old UI, v2-03-04 is what i have.. should i just roll back to that? and ignore your updates? or do you have a work around for this weird error.
Since last update(3.00.07) some items that were "safe", cant be visualized because they became unsafe. Maybe regression problems?
Usually the 'minor updates and fixes' is a typo in an item name fixed here, and item added there. Nothing too major.
If there is a specific bug I am fixing, I mention it in the changelog.
suggested fix? an old version works fine without errors.. are there new things added? or just a new UI/mockup of the libraries?
Ty for all your hard work on getting things fixed :)
@Neskiairti, for whatever reason, the Ace library Babble-Tradeskill is not loading
@anuarnaratau No. The counter is only beeing updated once or twice a day. :P
I`m 1st downloading :) v.3.00.07 Nice!
@Ramba He is not in Atlas yet but you can find his loot through the standalone browser.
@hsuken We consider that out of the scope. Therefore we have currently no plans to include any craftable items that are not part of a set.
I'm getting a strange set of errors.. which i think is conflicting with ArkInventory... here is an example, there are 13 total.
Error: Cannot find a library instance of Babble-Tradeskill-2.2. AddOn: AtlasLoot File: loottables.en.lua Line: 9 Count: 1 ...e\AddOns\ArkInventory\Libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:470: in function `AceLibrary' ...ace\AddOns\AtlasLoot\TableRegister\loottables.en.lua:9: in main chunk
Is it possible to include crafted items that is not in a set?
