AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot
AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

It's not specific Atlas and AtlasLoot files that are causing the trouble. It's one of the Blizzard files in the WTF folder. My suggestion would be to re-name the WTF folder (so you have a backup) and see what happens. If no, try deleting Atlas and AtlasLoot completely, log in, log out, then re-install.
Albright I tried what u suggested. I ended up deleting all the files that were labeled “Atlasâ€, logged in then out and then installed.
It fixed the problem, but only slightly. This is what occurred.
After doing said install, I logged into my lowbie and viola it worked. I was like woohoo. Then I logged out and logged into my hunter and it wasn’t working. I was getting the same issue as before. So now I’m just like wtf ok w/e. so I logged into my warrior and it works. And I’m like wtf, ok so I logged out of my warrior after about 2 hours and logged back into my hunter and low and behold its working.
So right now at this moment I’m calling a priest bc I’m thoroughly believing my computers possessed by evil WoW gods. LOL
Heya,
Love this addon but lately I'm having trouble. With the last update I've not been able to get it working. All the Atlasloot_xxxx subfolders are where they should be in the Interface/Addons/Atlasloot folder. The "LibBabble-Boss-3.0" is in the Libs folder. Any help would be nice. I feel lost without this addon.

Do you still get the error with the alpha version of swatter disabled? Looks like it might be causing the trouble.
I disabled Swatter altogether, used Improved Error Frames instead, and got:
Interface\AddOns\AtlasLoot\TableRegister\loottables.en.lua:9: Cannot find a library instance of "LibBabble-Faction-3.0".
In re-reading your post, the AtlasLoot_XXX folders shouldn't be in the AtlasLoot folder, they are separate addons in their own right (and you can just delete the ones you don't use to save memory).
If all the libraries are present in the Libs folder and have not been scrambled by your unzipping program (it happens!) then they should load no problem. If you are still having problems, these procedures usually work:
1) Delete all AtlasLoot related files and folders. Log in, the log out. Reinstall.
2) If (1) fails, rename your WTF folder to WTF_backup. If the mod works fine, then something was stuffed in your WTF folder. If no change, just rename WTF_bakcup back to WTF to restore your saved data.
this wont DL!
Works for me. You are welcome to try any of the other addon sites or my own site at http://www.atlasloot.net
I figured out what's wrong on my first try, not to rub it in anyone's face or anything, just kidding. Ok so Atlasloot and Atlasloot_BCInstances, Atlasloot_OldInstances, Atlasloot_ ... etc. are all seperate addons! Take all those Atlasloot_ folders and put them in the addons folder, but leave the normal Atlasloot folder they came in in the addons folder too, with the stuff in it. I feel smarter then a fistful of nerds right now!
Bingo, hence the copious linking of this screenshot:

After figuring how to get these into WoW after many months of confusion and frustration, I'm extremely pleased with this. I now know which instances and factions are a complete waste of time for what character, and which have good things for me.
Yay, :D
Ok lol i think i may have screwed myself over but here it goes... i was deleting my wtf cache and interface folder and when i logged in atlas loot wouldn't work properly i could do an alpha search but the preset lists were unavailable to me (i'd click but nothing would happen) i tried /atlasloot reset which didnt work so i tried reinstalling the addon by removing it and putting it back in NOW guess what!! i Tried to put it in but curse refused to so i attempted to put it in manually also a failure after deleting that second attempt i am now stuck with no atlas loot lmao im still trying to fik btw GREAT addon <3
ok this is me replying to kyrallis (same person) i managed to get curse to load it and everything but now /sigh it doesnt appear in game
I am extremely confused :-)
Just make sure your installation looks vaguely like this:

Just to clarify further, I think one major problem people are having with this addon at the moment is this error:
The problem stems from using any SVN server to update Atlasloot_Enhanced (WoWMatrix, for example does this) in conjunction with the 2.x client. The SVN server has the following directory structure:
AtlasLoot
AtlasOutdoorRaids
Add_Ons
AtlasLoot.toc
Bossnames
Changelog-AtlasLoot-r79756.txt <-- used by WoWMatrix
Constants
Core
DefaultFrame
Documentation

-LibBabble-Boss-3.0

AtlasLoot_BCInstances
AtlasLoot_Crafting
AtlasLoot_OldInstances
AtlasLoot_RepFactions
AtlasLoot_SetsandPvP
AtlasLoot_WorldLoot
Notice the LibBabble 3.0 parts. This is due to the nature of the SVN server. What you need to do is have only the 2.x addon parts made available via SVN, or mark the ALEnhanced 3.x addon as its own distinct addon. The above error is the dungeon lists having "blank" spaces, presumably added as part of the WOTLK 3.0 client data, and causin errors upon game startup.
Again, please make the 2.0 addon available to the SVN server and have the beta 3.0 addon as a manual download, or split the two into distinct name paths to prevent mixed addons (2.x with parts from 3.x like my setup above).
Edit: Nevermind. I'll leave the original text above to remind myself to TEST and follow certain instructions FIRST. Note: The SVN server is still sending a broken set of addon parts though.
Here's the fix folks:
1) Delete ALL files pertaining to Atlas/AtlasLoot Enhanced in your /Interface/AddOns/ folder.
2) Delete ALL files containing the word ATLAS in your /WTF/Account/AccountName/ServerName/CharacterName/SavedVariables/ folder(s). This is important. This resets Atlas/AtlasLoot Enhanced prefs to their default settings and WILL prompt you to set the addon up the first time you load each character.
3) Download the ATLAS (1.12.0) and ATLASLOOT ENHANCED (latest version here) addons. Use either the Curse installer to install them, or manually install them into your /Interface/AddOns folder.
4) Login to WoW and set up the addon in-game. This should erase any problems with errors and/or blank instance pulldown menu spaces (this was from the old Atlas_Entrances folder issue mentioned in the Atlas addon page comments).
5) Take a couple Excedrin for the headache this has proven to be. Be grateful you aren't Daviesh, who has to maintain two separate addons that MUST have specific versions to be compatible with each other. ;)
To Daviesh: Any chance of a combo Atlas/AtlasLoot Enhanced package that simplifies the update to "current" status for both addons to maintain compatibility? This one's always been a nagger and probably is the cause of 50% of your users' "problems", like mine above. :)
And yes, I'm quite happy with admitting when I'm wrong. The SVN server issue still remains though.
I don't write Atlas, Dan Gilbert does that (someone I have no connection to other than through mods).
Atlas 1.12 made a HELL of a lot of changes, so Dan put the big notice up telling people to delete EVERYTHING.
As for WoWMatrix, I hate it as I have no control over what it serves to people. The Babble-3.0 stuff has nothing to do with Wrath of the Lich King by the way, they are just the current version of Babble. There is NO Wrath work done on the current SVN version, we have a private SVN for that. That Babble version is the one being actively updated because it is framework agnostic (works with Ace2, Ace3, Rock or none of these). It is not a beta. All the 2.x libraries work with Ace2, the 3.0 libraries work with any framework (this is the next evolution of Ace-like frameworks, there is even work on attempting to make an abstraction layer for bar plugins so that the mod works the same with either FuBar or Titan).
For those interested, we are currently playing with a version for wrath that uses all Ace3 libraries, as there are some small but significant changes that help us save a lot of memory use over the Ace2 version. This should hopefully mean that even with all the Wrath stuff, the memory footprint is about the same.
Thank you for correcting me Daviesh. I never caught the notice about deleting everything since I use WoWMatrix to update my addons. If the author has a specific version set he wants on the SVN servers, using a specific framework or whatnot though, he does have control over that, and really should look into making sure only the versions HE wants on SVN servers are put there in the first place.
Just a thought. :)
Now if I could just find a full fledged LootLink database and a utility to add said database in for the current version(s) of WoW. ;)
SVN servers are NOT release versions. Everything on an SVN server is alpha, it is where mod author are actively working on their mods, warts and all. This is where the WoWMatrix philosophy is dangerous. SVN is not some kind of file host, it is an important group collaboration tool for active development and it has been used and abused.
WoWMatrix has also had some rather interesting run ins with authors, refusing to remove mods when requested (personally I am not fussed, that's why everything is under the GPL License, it's the support issues they cause that irk me).
Fortunately, the wowace SVN will be shielded from userland pretty soon, with only builds specifically tagged as 'release' being available.
I just logged in today and ran across this problem. I have noticed other people having the same issue but I have not com across a fix. Also I have checked and it does work fine on my other toons just not this one
http://img137.imageshack.us/my.php?image=alebrokeqb3.jpg
No solution yet. I can't replicate it! Not even sure if it is an Atlas problem or an AtlasLoot one. My only suggestion is to delete your WTF folder and see what happens.
If anyone with this problem is willing to be a tester for possible fixes, let me know. You need to have the problem happen every time you log in, so that we know the fix actually worked (if it is an AtlasLoot one).
