History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Below is list of custom modules which are developed and maintained by different author teams.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

This can't be related to Atlasloot. We don't do anything with the character display.

try disable all the addon, and only enable Atlasloot. I don't think the problem is related to Atlasloot.

If you want maps you can use Atlas, otherwise using just Atlasloot is totally fine.

First off, great add-on, I use it alot to do gear resurch for my upgrades for all my characters and also use the wish list constantly to keep up on what I have and don't have. Now to my question that I have for you, when sending your wish list to another player, is their going to be a way to shift click their name into the send list to box? I tried that a few times so that my raid leaders have the list of upgrades to no avail.

I am also happy to hear that their are no plans to have a GearScore tooltip.

Every time i log in, i get an error that i have to install atlas 17.1 / 17.3 to run atlasloot properly...but there ist no such atlas-version...

If you install the latest Atlas 1.17.00 everything should be fine.

There are currently no plans to include GearScore tooltip and I don't see this changing in the near future.

Pretty simple work around for this. Whisper yourself a link to the item, and voila, you get to see what the gearscore of the item is. Gearscore follows a pretty basic rule for score anyway. Higher item level= higher gearscore. If you really need to see spec scores, then you should do some research into your class. It's not too difficult to get a good idea of what each class/spec needs.

yep. gearscore killed the game. when my DK was 4800 gs, no one would let me in icc even tho i had good dps and knew fights. yet i finally got in 1, i had top dps, fore than 1.5k above person in 2nd, and he didnt even know fights. thx heg for no gs, it would just help ruin the game farther

We have always said AtlasLoot can not stand up to WoWhead or other sites if you wanna do certain stuff like intensively comparing items.
So while that sounds like a cool idea it may be an idea that we think Atlasloot can not properly provide.
I will put it on our suggestions list. Maybe we come up with a legendary idea during the rest of the Cataclysm development :)

Hmm... It wasn't so much an intensive comparison... Not sure if I worded it the best way I could've...

What I meant was, you know when you mouse over items and you get the tool tip telling you the difference in stats to the item you've got equipped? Well the same idea, instead of just having the item you have equipped shown against the item dropped, it also shows the item of the same type on your wish-list against the item that's dropped.

It's probably just a matter of convenience, but some raid leaders like to go through loot within 10 seconds of it dropping, so it's sometimes difficult to throw open Atlasloot to find the the item of that type you were looking for and seeing what stats you were aiming for on them.

Once again, not even sure it's possible, but hey, where would people be without feedback? :D

Not sure where to add suggestions, so I'll just do it here...

Something that I'd find quite handy is the ability to compare loot with items of the same type within your wish-list. The reason being is the difference in ilvl's... While you might be aiming for ICC25 gear, there might be a piece of gear that drops from ToC25H with the same stats, only a slightly lower ilvl, but at the same time still an upgrade from your current gear. It would just allow for a quicker comparison of items than opening up AtlasLoot to look at your wishlists to see if the stats on the items you were going for are on the item that has dropped.

Of course, I'm not even sure if this is even possible to do, but yeah, was just a thought. Hoping it's possible cause it'd sure be nifty.

I see. Could be complicated to implement. We will do a complete overhaul of the wishlist. I will keep your suggestion in mind when we start working on it.
