AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot

I just downloaded this mod, and I've got to say I love it! Always been fun to look at loot from bosses, see what reputations give later on and what not. I decided to update it, because with ZA, season 3, and all the new items and such I would like to be able to see them, y'know? Downloaded with no problem, extracted the mod and copied it into my addons folder. Copied without any problems. Went in game to make sure everything was working, and when I checked the ingame addons folder, the main dependancy "Atlasloot" didn't show up. I tried deleting them and copying again, but that didn't do anything. I don't know what could be wrong, and don't even know where to start and try and fix this..
PLZ HALP!

This is our forum for anything that is missing in Atlasloot. Please post a detailed description and links to WoWHead for every item that needs to be added.
There are a few items missing of course. Is there a way we can sugget them so they can be added?
One example added in 2.3 was the gems available from the Ogri'la rep and shards.

Unless you have Equipcompare installed, AtlasLoot uses the Blizzard tooltips. I have no control on what side they are rendered, Blizzard code does all that.
i really like this add on. i like it cuz i am working on earing money for my lvl 40 mount and trying to update my gear (im a lvl 39 using late 20's of early 30's gear).
my only complaint with the item comparison tooltips is that tehy are switched from what blizz has. blizz has your currentluy equiped items shown on the right of the item tooltip u r looking at, but yours are switched from that. i am a perfectionist at certain things, and certain things bother the hell out of me, like inconsistant tooltips. if u can switch the side the item compare tooltips are on, that would be great. thanks
No problem Sesheron, that's what these comments are for.
I could have sworn I looked at options...I feel retarded. Please accept my humblest apologies.
@Sesheron
Make sure 'Show comparison tooltips' is turned on in AtlasLoot options. It uses EquipCompare if available, otherwise it uses the Blizzard code.
@Desyre
I already have a fair idea HOW I am going to do the wishlist stuff, it is actually a lot more complicated than you imply. I haven't been able to DO it, due to no internet connection for almost 2 months. I literally just got connected 10 minutes ago. User interface is the hard part, I can't say I am the hugest fan of yet another X-left click combination, but it might have to suffice for a first implementation.
Pretty sure this might only be a snippet of code needed but the ability to use EquipCompare when hovering over items in AtlasLoot. The way I normally use atlas loot is pull up the instance map and click on the boss name. Then pull up my character tab and bring my mouse back and forth a lot to compare what I want with what I have got. I know equipcompare lets you look at things in your bag and the loot window with what is currently equipped. I wish that AtlasLoot would as well.
equipcompare works fine with atlasloot for me. check if you have both mods updated and turned on. Maybe there is an option in atlasloot you unchecked that turns this feature off?
WoW has complicated the issue of planning out what items you want with armor set, badge items, rep items, arena items, pvp items. I have been looking all over for a way to list what items I would like to plan on getting so i dont waste reams of paper or then lose my on paper list.
After searching several addon websites, all I could find was ItemSync has a favorites tab you can add items too. So, I have been going to atlassloot to figure out what items I can shoot for and then copying the items to ItemSync and then adding them to the favorites. This process is almost as tedious as using paper, really.
Anyway, I thought perhaps you might get some ideas on how to implement a wishlist or 'favorites' from ItemSync code. I do wish ItemSyncs favorties listed where items dropped and it would be nice if items could be sorted into which paperdoll slot they will fit.
A simple start for this addition to Atlasloot would be just a simple list of hyperlinks to items, not even tooltips. Say you alt-click an item (or right click or whatever) from the main Atlasloot UI, and it adds the item to a list you can get to by clicking the wishlist tab. This list has no tooltips or icons or dressing room abilities in the first itterations. It's just a simple list of hyperlinked item names, such that when you click on one, it will take you to the place in the Atlasloot UI where you orignally added the hyperlink. For example, you click the "Drape of the Dark Reavers" hyperlink and it sends you to the Atlasloot page with Karazahn - Shade of Aran loot with the Drape selected. This will allow you to recal quickly where an item is from that you have placed on the wishlist.
Ah, I see. No problem =)
@Lombra
checked again. It was already fixed on the svn ^^.
Plans are now 360.
Thx for your input.
It's basically like this:
"Shaman Arena season 3
Earthshaker (Linked/Enhancement)
Linked Helm
Linked Shoulderpads
Linked Chestpiece
Linked Gloves
Linked Leggings
Wartide (Ringmail/Restoration)
Ringmail Helm
Ringmail Shoulderpads
Ringmail Chestpiece
Ringmail Gloves
Ringmail Leggings
Thunderfist (Mail/Elemental)
Mail Helm
-> Linked Shoulderpads
Mail Chestpiece
Mail Gloves
Mail Leggings"
Both the button and tooltip indicates that it is the linked ones. I hope it makes sense.
One more thing, (not sure if this was changed recently but) the plans for Felsteel Gloves dropped of Auchenai Crypts trash requires 360 blacksmithing rather than the displayed 370.
@Lombra
Weapon issue is fixed.
About the shoulders: What exactly is wrong? Checked the item id's but they are fine.
Dunno if this was reported yet but where the Vengeful Gladiator's Mail Shoulderpads is supposed to be (elemental shaman arena season 3) the "Linked" (enhancement) ones instead are.
Also Fool's Bane and The Decapitator from Terestian Illhoof and Prince Malchezaar respectively are now one-handed rather than main hand.
@mich
New version soonish, there are some complicating IRL factors right now that should be gone soon.
@naikon10
The game parser cannot read ANY files in your AddOns directory, including Blizzard code. Delete your Interface and WTF folders, the run the Blizz repair tool (to be on the safe side. The log in and log out to recreate the deleted folders. After this point, start reinstalling addons one by one.
whne will a new version come out with the changes to arena and bg loots
hope that helps
