Advanced and Delightful Sounds

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Advanced and Delightful Sounds, ADS for short, enables the player to have more control over the sound system. It allows to disable annoying things as the error speeches ("Spell not ready yet." or "Need more rage!") and armor damage sounds (you know, that moaning of the mobs when you crit?).

It also provides an easy solution to "sanitize" the sound in WoW, just click on the "Default" button in the options UI (make sure to only reset the settings of ADS!)

Why this addon? 1. The sound before TBC was wretched! But now that the two new starting zones have more music than the whole vanilla WoW, it is an awesome experience, and from what I've heard from Wrath it will be even better! But then there are these annoying sounds that everyone hates! 2. This should provied me with a playground to learn the ins and outs of addon programming in WoW and Ace before I go and develop something bigger. 3. Yes, you could just change the config.wtf and add these console variables, but some people don't bother with that and don't even know you can do it and others (like me) sometimes want to be tortured by this!
