I wonder if it's possible once a tradeskill cooldown is recorded for a character that it still shows on the list as 0 when it's off cooldown.
Having 4-5 alts with different daily cds (imperial silk on tailor, living steel on alchemist, scroll of wisdom on scribe, jard's energy source on engineer, etc) I find that an indicator of what craft I haven't done is as useful if not more than what's already on cd.

As an off-topic I noticed on my engineer that the tooltip lists Jeeves and MOLL-E cooldowns after I've used them.
It's not a big deal, just not sure if it's intended, since those are not crafting skills.

If there's already a combination of options that does what I requested, I'd appreciate being pointed towards that, nothing jumped out at me while browsing the options.

@oscarucb: Go I understand, it's not a typical use case for me but if you want to be thorough that's indeed a problem.

Would it be an idea to dynamically add discovered tradeskill CDs to the options indiscriminately as a checkbox for each defaulting to "off" for "show tradeskill indicator when off cooldown". Then it's on the user to go through the options and only check those tradeskill spells they'd like appearing when off CD manually.

As that was kind of a run on description what I mean is along these lines.

    • Engineer uses Jard's Peculiar Energy Source, the cd is detected as now
    • At the same time addon checks if it has already been injected to the options and if not it does
    • As a checkbox controlling whether to show it when off-CD
    • Defaulting to unchecked (so the base functionality remains unchanged to current)

Those checkboxes are under tradeskills, are not per character (maybe under a profession label if it is trivial to implement)
So a user of the addon can find at the options all tradeskill CDs he's used in the past for any of their characters on the realm and can go and check any that interest them to have OFF-CD information on, manually.
That should make the functionality self-maintaining in the long run and free you from implementing some form of automatic filtering logic.

I fully understand if you wouldn't want to expand tradeskill cooldown functionality thus, the addon is after all called "Saved Instances".

About Jeeves and such; I see :-)

I'll think about adding an indicator for off-cd spells once the patch fervor dies down. The main issue is how to decide or configure which ones you want to see and which you don't (eg you probably don't want to see your Tailor's "Dream of Ragnaros" and Enchanters "Void Sphere" CDs if they've been unused for years).

Blingtron, Jeeves and MOLL-E cooldowns are shown as a convenience, so you can tell from your other toons if your Engineer's "raid utility cds" are available.
