Manufac
Manufac is an Ace2 mod that overrides the default profession windows and replaces them with a popup menu with some extra features.
After selecting a recipe, there are many options for what action to take, and many ways to access the information you might need.
- Recipe Name and Amount Craftable with what's in your inventory. Click this to link the item in chat.
- Create 1. Click to cast the skill once.
- Create X. Enter how many times to cast this skill.
- Create All. Click to cast the skill as many times as you can with what's in your bags.
- Non-Consumed Requirements. Listed here, if applicable, are any things you need for the skill that aren't consumed. These things include fires for cooking, rods for enchanting, anvils for smithing, etc.
- Reagent List. Each reagent of the skill is listed, along with how many you have and how many you need per cast. Click to link the reagent.
- Link Result. Adds a link to chat with the item or enchant that's created by this skill, along with the number created per cast if applicable.
- Link Recipe! Creates a "link" of the whole recipe, which contains a link of the result followed by a list of the mats. (Note: the mats are not linked because you cannot have more than 3 links in a given chat message)
- Grouping. Explained below.
"Can Make": This pseudo-category contains all the items that you have the mats for at a given time. It can be enabled or disabled in the options dropdown, or with /manu canmake.
Value Summary: If KC Items or Auctioneer is installed, Manufac can get some interesting data regarding auction house prices for tradeskill items, to help you determine if an item is worth making and selling, or if it would be more profitable to simply sell the mats. Also helpful in determining what to sell an enchant for.
Options
- /manufac sorttype difficulty - Set sort type to Difficulty.
- /manufac sorttype alpha - Set sort type to Alphabetical.
- /manufac money - Toggles the money display.
- /manufac position (setting) - sets the menu's position.
- /manufac offsetx (value) - set the x offset.

- /manufac fubar - Toggles the FuBar plugin.

Update pleas :) for 3.X
I miss Manufac
ATSW works and is being updated
update 3.0.2 for this one?
Can you add a sticky button to the menu or a don't automatic hide option?
The menu hides very fast if the mouse is not placing over the frame.
Love it. Works perfectly.
Well you probably need some dependencies - which I don't know. (since I don't use the addon myself) Anyway, an addon that might work for you is "Advanced Tradeskill Window" - it does work but I'm pretty sure it's not really being updated anymore... unfortunately.
Maybe I'll try this addon once it's got a nice interface - Waterfall would do fine, I guess.
I have it installed. Even had a newer version than listed here but none work for me. It doesn't show up anywhere. Not a single command I throw at it does anything. It would be cool to get it fixed. Prolly gonna remake my entire UI tomorrow and start here. BTW does it work for engineering? I want an addon that does this for me:
I select an item I want to make, gives me a mats list including engineering crafted mats and that gives a new window which the mats and the ability to create it. Possible even the ability to queue them.
Since I haven't been able to activate this addon yet I haven't seen if it does just that. /pray it does!
Gonna redo my ui tomorrow, perhaps it's due to conflicting addons or something.
Rogue poison mats were changed with patch 2.1 but this isn't reflected in Manufac 2.1 update. This makes the mod completely useless for a rogue.
I'm having a problem with Enchanting after the 2.1 patch; First Air and Cooking work correctly, but when I click to load enchanting formulae, I get this error:
...erface\AddOns\Manufac\libs\Stitch-1.1\Stitch-1.1.lua:79: attempt to concatenate local 'name' (a nil value)
Anyone know a fix?
alchy works perfect. Nice work!!
1 minor bug: money option shows the price of 5 vials (3g) instead of 1 like the other mats. So the showed material value is to high. Also it doesn't consider the lesser costs at higher rep level ( 2g70 instead of 3g f.e.)
Error: bad argument #1 to 'format' (number expected, got nil) File: Interface\AddOns\Manufac\Manufac.lua Line: 84 Count: 11
v30501, while tying to reach Mining menu.
I have the same error whit mining menu... Erreur : bad argument #1 to 'format' (number expected, got nil) Fichier : Interface\AddOns\Manufac\Manufac.lua Ligne : 84 Nombre : 1
this is rly good and useable addon... i used old version but this is... ehm... very nice (so many new funcion) ...i
Could you please add an option to filter out recipes by difficulty? While skilling up, I'd really like to just see non-gray (or even non-green) recipes
Otherwise, great mod, telling my guild about it now :)
I like having price summary data, so I hacked in the needed changes to make Manufac work with beta (gamma) Auctioneer. Lines below with ::: are what to do; the rest are what to change:
