42 - raid buffs marked as not present while solo (5.1)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Be a cat or a bear.
Enable "solo" in energized.
Observe that critical strike buff is marked as not present.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

As a cat or a bear, I always have that buff while solo through Leader of the Pack so I'd expect not to be told I am missing it.

What version of the product are you using?

r168-release, WoW 5.1.0 (16309) x64 on Mac.

Do you have an error log of what happened?

Please provide any additional information below.

I am pretty sure this is due to a breaking change to the UI applied by Blizzard in 5.1, which is that party/raid-wide buffs no longer appear in the UI unless you are grouped:

I don't know whether there's an API call that gives you the real buffs and debuffs instead of the filtered ones the Blizzard UI shows.

Energized also appears to have the same problem for other classes/specs while solo. For example, an elemental Shaman appears to be missing spell power, mastery and spell haste buffs although those are baseline passives for that spec through Burning Wrath, Grace of Air and Elemental Oath.

So if Energized is to be useful in solo, and assuming Blizzard don't change this, it might be worth changing it to assume the presence of these buffs while solo if in the appropriate spec. That would also help with the niggling error condition I saw in 5.0 where (e.g.) a Guardian druid who is in caster form gets an error all the time which went away when shifted to bear or cat form.

Obviously you'd have to be careful not to apply the same logic to castable buffs like Arcane Brilliance.

Energized was never really intended to be useful when solo, and this sounds like more work than I can complete since I don't have any of the affected classes and Blizzard keeps changing how this works. I think it's changed at least once in every expansion now. Therefore, I've made the decision to eliminate Energized support for solo. It will turn itself off and you can't turn it on. Sorry about that.
