BuffEnough is a personal buff monitor that answers the simple question 'Am I buff enough?' If you're like me, when a raid leader does a ready check, you go through a mental checklist as you look over your buffs and gear, to make sure that you really are ready. Did I remember to do my own buff, do I have all pally blessings, do I have the correct pet out, am I still flasked/elixired, is my durability okay, did I forget to take off my riding crop, etc, etc. This is what BuffEnough does for you. It scans the raid to figure out what you should have, and then scans your buffs and gear to figure out what you do have. If the box is green, the answer is 'yes', you're buff enough. If the box is red or yellow, then you're still missing something and hovering your mouse over the box will tell you what it is in the tooltip.
/be or /buffenough - brings up the command line list
/be config - brings up the config UI (can also be accessed by Blizzard's interface options)

Nickodemus_wow Tue, 11 Aug 2009 19:35:34Hey WoWAce community!
I'm looking for someone to take over BuffEnough maintenance and development. Unfortunately, I just don't have time anymore to do any addon development (I haven't even had time to download the latest patch!). If you're interested, send me a message or make a post and I'll get back to you about a transfer of ownership. Thanks and happy developing!

Nickodemus_wow Wed, 22 Jul 2009 00:39:25Do you feel like you could provide a full translation file for BuffEnough, LaMaG? If so, I'd love to include it in the addon.

LaMaG Sat, 18 Jul 2009 04:54:59hi Nickodemus Thanks for this great addon. I'm French and I have the same translation issue for my Flask.
The french translation for "Flask of" is "Flacon de"
Expect this could help you ;)

Nickodemus_wow Thu, 16 Jul 2009 18:28:59Ah yes. It's a translation issue, as there still needs to be a 'Flask of the' string translated into German (or whatever the client). I just recently added a deDE localization to BE a couple of days ago. Try updating to 1.1.15 and see if that solves your issue.

shinx Thu, 16 Jul 2009 12:42:37on German Client, it allways show "missing Flask" in tooltip,i looked around an modified spell.lua a little bit and now it works. Maybe it is an Client problem i dont know!?.
iam not realy good in english and lua scripting but i hope you understand what i try to say and you can fix my problem, it is realy a very nice addon :)

Nickodemus_wow Wed, 15 Jul 2009 00:18:05Doesn't need it. The .flasks entries are exception cases specifically for flasks that don't start with 'Flask of the' (thus identifying them as flasks).
Is there a specific issue you're experiencing?

NythKT Fri, 22 May 2009 11:25:49LoL,
I know what you meant. I have mentioned it to the guild and they seem interested. Has come in handy on some of our raids. Will have a look at the Strata, seems to look good on my Alt so perhaps it is Strata on my main.
Thanks Again,
Nyth

Nickodemus_wow Thu, 21 May 2009 21:44:38Displaying all buffs, gotcha. I'll stick that on the to do list and see if I can come up with something decent. With regards to your frame issue, I think what you want to change is the 'Strata', which should be in your BE config options.
Appreciate the feedback. No bones necessary, just tell your friends about the addon and keep the feedback flowing in. That's bone enough for me. Er... that didn't come out right...

NythKT Thu, 21 May 2009 21:35:13Thanks Nick for the prompt response.
Re: Defensive Stance warning I am using CT so that would explain it. I will try adding it as a custom field. Dual Specd (Prot/Prot) tank I am always in Defense stance so that's why I don't like that feature. You could just as well make a warning saying you are in a Fury stance but as it is I can live with it.
Re: BuffEnough Output I see, makes sense for a pet owner, can you make it a checkbox to turn it off and on?
Re: Displaying all buffs If you could make a button that when clicked a page would pop-up and display all the buffs the program is tracking. This would make me feel more secure that I am not missing anything and if I were I could easily add it. As it is now, we the end-user have to trust (no offense) that you have all possible buffs programed. It is a seeing is believing thing. Not a major item, but woudl be nice to show people what it is currently tracking.
New observation: I noticed that when I drag the addon UI (button) over my Spartan UI From Here That the frame stays on top but the red color drops to the bottom behind the UI. Not sure if you can make it all appear on top as I am not a programmer.
Once again, I think you got a great addon going, where can I send you a few bones?
