Chinchilla Minimap

Example 1

Chinchilla Minimap alters the Blizzard Minimap in a way to provide much nicer features and other niceties.

Allows changing of blip size, border style, shape of the map (doesn't have to be circular, or even square, lots of options are available), size, etc.
A more flexible north-east-south-west indicator.
Show your location coordinates.
Make the minimap very big temporarily (good for gathering or finding a tough-to-spot enemy).
Show the name of your location more flexibly.
Move Buttons
Move the buttons around the minimap to wherever you want (even off the minimap entirely).
Show which team-mate pinged the minimap.
Position the minimap and frames around it.
Range Circle
Show on the minimap where your range extends to.
Show / Hide
Show or hide various frames related to the minimap.
Tracking Dots
Change the dots on the map to a different set of images. Very handy, especially if you suffer from colour-blindness
Use the mouse-wheel to zoom the minimap and zoom out the map automatically after 20 seconds (or so).

The clamped change didn't fix it for me. Disabling Bazooka did, but changing the strata - like has been posted elsewhere - didn't fix it either. (Clamped BTW is a checkbox at the top of the Position module in game.)

It's weird, because you can move it within a certain "band" at the top of the screen, but even manually entering the coordinate you want won't work.

Someone on Curse's comments for Bazooka said that it might be Ace3 causing it, because they reverted, then it came back when Ace3 updated.

EDIT: Also, disabling SickOfClickingDailies' Alt Tracker (and only the Alt Tracker) fixes it for me. Something is real screwy somewhere.

Same issue here. It seems to be stuck in the top area of the screen, cant move it down below a certain point at which is snaps back. Cant adjust the vertical value manually either.

EDIT: Go to Chinchilla/Modules/Position.lua and "clamped = true" to "clamped = false". Surprisingly simple fix.

Could we get replacement graphics for blizz's new Target and Focus tracking dots? The default graphics seem to be a little over-the-top; icons almost seem like they're in the way, rather than being helpful.

Aye, map is broken, jumps to top right/center/left only and snaps to those locations no matter what

I can no longer move the map anyplace I want it to go. It jumps back to the top. I like it on the bottom. sigh

Did the boss frames move? Mine are showing up in the middle of the movable frame...not sure if this is a Blizzard intention or just a stupid bug on their part.

There seems to be an issue with the Blip Size changing.

Decreasing the blip size drastically increases the size of the buttons around the Minimap, e.g. the Calendar Button.

Increasing the size, however, lowers the size of these buttons.

The size of these buttons doesn't change 'til a UI-reload has been made. Any fast fixes for this? ;)

Current issues I find with the addon:

    - Boss Frames. These appear roughly to the top left of the positioning box, and are scaled bigger than the default Blizzard Boss Frame size. (I'm unsure whether this would vary depending on the UI scale I use in the WoW Video settings, but I'm too scared to adjust them just in case it breaks everything else.)

    - Player Power Bar. This appears about 2/3 of the way down the screen and a bit to the right of where the positioning box is. Once again, it's scaled bigger than what the Blizzard default is.

Would be awesome if there was an option to adjust the graphical scaling of the Boss Frames and Player Power Bar, so you could make them as small or large as you want (as well as getting their positioning correct within their respective boxes.) Think it's also possible for the Boss Frames to also show the HP % as well as the actual values?

Absolutely great addon btw. Hope all the kinks get sorted out :)

Thanks, but you weren't kidding about buggy. The positioning frame for the sound thing is not accurate had to go back to a previous release version to get it back in its start place. Once I moved it, it chose its own spot no matter how much I adjusted the positioning frame for it.
