    The one chat related feature I need that is missing from Chatter is inline highlighting. Basically I want the words highlighted in the chat window, not redirected or duplicated through other alerts. e.g. I add all my toon names so whenever someone mentions one of my names it's in bright red in the text so it stands out as I look through chat or see messages coming in. No need for seeing an additional alert or a special window and am able to see the highlights inline in chat history. I still use an old Ace2 addon called ChatHighlighter that does this. It would be nice if it was built into Chatter's highlight feature.

    Any word when Automatic Whisper Windows will support whispers that come from people added via BattleTags?

    @Melari: Go

    I've been using chatter for a long time now and never had either of these issues.

    I would have sworn that Chatter had a feature that allowed for the placement of the chat frame scroll buttons on either side of the frame. Has this feature been removed or am I thinking of a different addon, or ... have I finally lost my mind completely?

    So is this addon still working or is it now broken beyond repair, i realy prefer it over others but for me the part that i could no longer use guild chat or chat with my rlid friends was too much.

    Don't look at me. I haven't even been able to maintain my own chatter additions after you switched to git. Grmbl.

    ^ Please this issue is still present in latest version.. it's a huge pain =(

    Changing button height works for the first chat tab, but the other tabs will be cut off, unable to select them in any way unless resetting to a lower height.

    Dear random people who decide to commit updates/fixes for your favorite addons:

    Please do not commit changes to popular addons that are not yours, unless you actually know what you are doing, and have actually tested your changes. You should NEVER overwrite a global API function unless you are 1000% sure you know what you are doing, and have tested that change extensively, including with other addons.

    Whoever committed "MoP updates" to Chatter yesterday broke Grid, Grid2, and likely every other unit frame addon, or any other addon that did anything with groups... and on top of that, while your changes silenced the Lua errors you were seeing on beta servers, they did not actually allow the broken parts of the module to work in MoP, because you did not register for the group events that actually fire in MoP (hint: they are not the same events that fire on live servers).

    I've committed a fix, and cleaned up some of the incredible amounts of outdated code and general clutter in the PlayerNames module while I was in there. Please try to avoid breaking other people's addons in the future with your untested commits. Thanks.

    I fear this addon is abandoned, but: for some weeks now (or, probably since 4.3, but I only noticed it since I transfered my main back to my old server&guild) the automatic alt detection somehow also works the other way around, for mains, it shows some alt as the "main". Might be the last alt alphabetically, leading me to think there is some table mixup, but I couldn't find anything in the code. Also ignores manually setting a blank main, after some time it shows the alt again.
