First i have to say it's a really nice AddOn. I don't know, if i'm too silly or i just make it wrong, but i I have problems to configure it. I can't position the Bars where, because i can't drag them (or i just overlooked smth?). Can anyone tell me, if there is an Option to drag the Bars, or only with the "Position & Scaling-"option?
g1breel: I was wondering the same this morning, after a brief break from WoW. My general FPS has dropped from a steady 130, down to 50, and I cannot figure out why. Perhaps it has nothing to do with UnderHood itself, but I figured I could post it anyway.
Anadale: Keep the good work up. This addon is truly great :)
will there be an update for patch 3.2.
I love this addon, but at the the moment the aura functionality is buggy.
Sometimes i see Buffs/Debuff, sometimes don't.
I second this ticket - even with the update, buffs/debuffs are still wonky and don't show on and off with target and focus (at least).
Spells.lua line 712+713 should be changed from
elseif playerRace == "Troll" then
selfBuffs[20554] = true -- Berserking
to
elseif playerRace == "Troll" then
selfBuffs[26297] = true -- Berserking
will there be an update for patch 3.2.

As of patch 3.2.0 this addon produces a 0.5-1 second lag everytime I change my target. Whenever I target my own toon my framerate goes down from ~30 to ~5 ( Only when targeting my own character, otherwise there's the lag mentioned above ;) ).
Any suggestions or workarounds?
First, I want to thank you for making this. Since seeing Kythe's UI, and toying with it, Underhood has become the base UI on all toons with other addon's accessorizing the base.
I do have one irritation though, and I'm not even sure this is in the product plans for Underhood. Tank, DPS, and Healing classes have personal stats that can/will be altered throughout the game. What irritates me is that there is no provider to dynamically have my HUD display stats other than HP and Power. TinyStats, and buff based addon's are used now to "react" to those situations. However, it would be nice if we could get either tags or a provider that hooks into player stats (I know it's not going to work with target, raid, and those).
For Example, imagine a vertical bar for spellpower, and it grows up as the stat increases having the floor and ceiling values configurable. That can be useful for all classes and all stats, but not all at the same time. :)
I'll try to get a mock of what I'm trying to do. err when Bonechewer comes back online that is.
I had a chance to investigate this further last night. While part of the issue is the profiling itself, running UH with the aura module disabled resulted in a noticeable performance improvement as well. While I only track debuffs, I do have aura filtering enabled and looking at the code, I'm wondering if the current implementation could be more efficient. If I get a chance before my next raid, I will see if I can instrument some of that code without needing profiling enabled and see if I can better pin-point any possible issues.
I will also try taking DBM out of the picture just to make sure there isn't some weird interaction being triggered by multiple combat log event consumers.
This is very strange. I use it every day from the beginning :) and do not experience any performance issues. Try to disable DBM on one of the easiest bosses like Ignis and see the impact of this. If you also can send me list of your addons in use at that time that would be perfect.
Ok I decided to make my own HUD set up with your addon. I was doing great until my comp froze up and I had to cold boot. I tried again thinking it was a freak accident, and my comp froze up again. This computer's got a few years on it but runs WoW fine. Is this addon not easy on older computers?
In most cases, a hard crash of your system is an indication of faulty/damaged hardware and hardware drivers. Microsoft Windows, and Apple Macintosh operating systems, development platforms, and runtimes protect end user experiences from software based crashes. Meaning, something freaked out your operating system, and the modern OS design would always choose to crash the software to stay up. Do memtest for system ram, and ATI/NVidia have their own test for video. Update your drivers too for everything since that can be a reason for the crash (Logitech first.)
Is anyone else having issues with UH seriously cutting into their FPS during raids? For the last several weeks my FPS flat lines during 25man content - it wasn't brilliant before but it was playable, not 1-2. I had a chance to test tonight and with almost everything disabled my FPS in the raid was back around 20-25. As soon as I re-enabled UH & DBM my FPS went back down to 5-6. Now I guess it could be DBM, but looking at the CPU profiling, the core UnderHood module is by far the most significant CPU user.
@Kabump: HP percentage coloring was planned but never was implemented due to my incredible laziness :) Once I'll find myself ready to start coding again (summer, hot, hard modes) I'll go and add it :)
Just want to say this mod is FANTASTIC once you figure out how to configure it properly. The one thing I cant seem to find, and maybe im missing something obvious, but for the health bars I cant seem for them to color based upon percentage of health. They stay one solid color the entire time, I am used to having this visual clue to help me, so if Im missing something or if its supposed to do this and im just not having it work for me let me know please :) Oh, and for all the people asking on how to put player bars on side and target on the other, all I did was switch the anchoring around. Anchor the playerpower bar to the left side of the player health bar and the target health bar to --screen-- and the targetpowerbar to the targethealthbar. A little complicated sure, but it makes sense if you look at how the rest of the mod is configured. I do think it might a good idea to offer a few more default layouts for people, one as is and another with all player bars on one side and target on the other. This will make "out of the box" usability better.

Anyone else seen anything like this?
