Okay, the first alpha-version of UH 2 is uploaded. Please, backup your existing settings (file <WoW>/WTF/Account/<Your login>/SavedVariables/UnderHood.lua to a safe place, so you'll be able to restore it if something will go wrong. Completely remove existing UnderHood folder in AddOns folder and unpack downloaded alpha there.
Notification to all users: UnderHood version 2 is in alpha (near beta) stage, ETA is next wednesday. What's new:
- No more plain X/Y positioning. Each frame can be docked to any other frame or screen
- Revamped Alpha-engine. Now you can override global alpha-settings in frames
- Ravamped frame visibility rules
- Support for Death Knight class (Runic Power via Power provider and Runes module)
- Performance and memory-consumption optimization
- New "Duplicate Frame" option for fast frame creation
- And some more...
Is there anyway to move the entire HUD as opposed to individual elements? I play with my viewport on one half of a dual screen setup and need to shift everything -- and moving each individual sub-frame seems a very tedious method. (Not too mention the immovable config panel which sits smack on top of the HUD...). Looks intriguing though, would like to try it out if I could figure an easier to get it setup for myself out of the box.
In ArcHUD2 you could mouse over a "nameplate" and have tooltips or other things related to that activate.
In UnderHood, the only detriment I have experienced would be the lack of functionality with Grim Reaper. As a raider Grim Reaper is handy for analyzing deaths. In a normal scenario, you merely mouseover a party or raid frame, or the nameplate of a target. In my raid UI however, neither my Raid frames nor Underhood provide an active nameplate that I can actually mousever, thus precluding Grim Reaper's use unless I actually turn on the default player frame or add say, an X-Perl player frame.
I had some issues while transitioning to the new versions. A little advice to fellow users: When all else fails, delete the saved variable file and start over.
@technidragon: You have two options on wowace page: Download from Curse and Download. Use the second one.
@all: Unfortunately I'm not able to upload files here, I just do commits to CurseForge SVN and packager creates zip-files. I'll try to contact guys from CF to help resolve the issue.
Glad to see this working well for 3.0. I commented on wowace about tapped mobs (before the patch), appears to be working now; when someone else taps a mob before you and it is still selected the color changes to the tapped color. Awesome.
On the downside: I can download it from wowace but not from Curse. Could you please Re-upload to curse so that it won't sit stuck in my curse updater trying to download it and in need of an update?

Many thanks Anadale, for the work you put into this addon. Have a great day!
