QuestHubber
Now updated for Mists of Pandaria
QuestHubber is an addon that was designed to show pinpoints on the world map of all the quests you've missed. Between data personally collected by myself, data submitted from other users, and data that I obtained from Wowhead via a crawler script, there are over 7,000 quests for Alliance and Horde from every zone and continent in game currently—including the new Cataclysm zones. Because much of the data from the old zones is very new and Wowhead does not seem to be 100% correct, you may notice some incorrect positioning, missing quests, or quests from the opposite faction, but in my experience these problems are not intrusive at all.
Type /qh, /qhub, or /questhubber to access the options.
Features
- Only shows quests you have yet to complete
- Quick toggling of pins via world map
- Optional filtering quests out of level range
- Optional tracking of daily quests
- Optional hiding optional quests you skipped and future quests you cannot access yet (very experimental!)
Note: If you used an older version of QuestHubber, you may also have the addon QuestGather in your AddOns folder. This was an optional addon that was bundled along to help collect data, but it is no longer necessary. Feel free to delete the QuestGather folder.
sorry, I post at wrong window rofl. I should not open too much page. :p
What bar texture?
Any way to change the bar texture?
Does the ! icon show for only the hub or one ! icon for each quest giver at that hub?
If it's every quest giver is there anyway I can change it so it only shows a single ! icon for any given quest hub (whether there's 1 quest giver there or 16).
This helps me (and other) alot to complete all the new quests and achievements
Thank you very much :)
If it has the data, it will show the pin on the world map with the mob's name as the quest giver.
Does this also track the "Mobs" that drop the "This item begins a quest"?
I noticed today as well that some dailies and repeatable quests were in the database. I have fixed my script and will be uploading some new data as r26 after it is processed.
Edit: Done. Let me know of any daily, repeatable, or holiday quests that are displayed now and I will try and find out why.
Loving it sofar, but is there any way to tell daily/normal q's apart?
Yeah, there isn't much I can do about the mistagged quests until Wowhead fixes it in their database, but the class/race filter should be a simple expansion of my Python script.
ah i see a few horde quests flagged alliance or neutral. also, one thing that should be an easy fix, all the low level trainer quests should be filtered if not relevent to your classic. IE on my warrior it'ss howing me that "arcane missles" is available from the mage trainer
otherwise great work, especially on memory efficency.
