Baggins
Inventory Management with virtual view divided into sections.
Now with baggins you can not only separate your bags into virtual view of your inventory but organize the items in your virtual view by item type! Bag options with endless possibilities. Add/remove/create categories, change skin of the view baggins does it all! Customize your bags to show items exactly how you like! No more looking for items and not being able to find them, look and know exactly where they should be!
For example one bag with profession items, one bag with gear, and so much more! You can even make your own categories!
You can use the minimap icon or /baggins to open the options window.

It works again! Thanks a lot

Hi, i really like this addon is there a chance that it may work with the addon "pawn" (Pawn normaly shows a green upgrade arrow when a item is better)
(the Pawn addon author thinks it should only be a minor change to make it work) :) would be great, and thanks for your work!
First Doadin i love your work, i have been using this addon for alot of years now and can't find any other bag addon that match this for me :)
But after release 3.5.5, if i make a bag and set the item type to exampel consumeable, and i then set it to not category another category, it still display's it in both bags.
And a little suggestion, would it be possible to make an option to hide not show items that is already in another category under category in the Rule selector instead of selecting each category i don't want to have displayed?
Keep up the great work...
Would it be possible to add the ability to either configure or toggle (enable/disable) the use of CTRL & ALT right-clicking on an item, please? It conflicts with another addon I'm using.
In reply to Cartas:
In v3.5.8 there is now an option in Baggins > Config Window > General > Disable Default Item Menu, if this is set the CTRL & ALT right-clicking on an item won't spawn the menu.
You can also set a key bind for that menu in Game Menu(Esc key) > Key Bindings > Addons > Under Baggins > Item Menu .
I am trying to make a new category for inscription. Currently all inscription mats goes in Other and i would like it to be in a seperate profession tab for inscription. How do i specifically do that? I didnt fiddle with settings before.
Wondering if any work has begun on updating for Shadowlands? I wish I could offer help, but my coding knowledge is nil.
In reply to duna2016:
got a release going for beta, works, so unless more things change should be good to go for release.
In reply to Doadin:
Thanks for the update to my question, but even more thanks for the work updating Baggins.
In reply to Doadin:
I found a problem with latest release, Set Layout Bounds is not working at the moment...
In reply to dakar2008:
Sorry I missed that, servers are going down soon at the time of writing this but I should have a fix in/released soon after they come back up.
I would suggest to revert this commit: https://github.com/doadin/Baggins/commit/fa0a95034203bd5d85547cf2912837c9bf692212
And find proper fix. That was just temporary measure that vastly increase time to open bags for the first time.
In reply to AcidWeb:
"fix rest of init issues" do you have any more info on what you where fixing?
sorry for late reply been busy.
In reply to Doadin:
Revert this code and you will see. Currently bags need to be refreshed multiple times to start work after login.
Seconded, after trying the latest update, I found that nearly all of my tradeskill filters stopped working. Herbs, fish, everything now ends up uncategorized unless I manually add a filter for them, which should be the exception, not the norm. Removing PeriodicTable support would unfortunately explain this.
In reply to seleste_star:
Noted, and will work on adding it back in and hopefully have release sometime within the next day or two, should be a simple reverse commit.
In reply to Doadin:
Hello it's me again. ;)
First things first. Thank you for putting "LibPeriodicTable" back in! Sadly i have to report that all of my PeriodicTable Filters are broken now, when i edit the Rule i see the Error Message saying: "The plugin providing this rule is out of date and not compatible with Baggins-2.0".
I would have to recreate all of my rules (i got lots of rules, that would be very inconvenient), is there a way you can implement "LibPeriodicTable" like in previous versions so i don't have to redo all of my filtering rules?
In reply to Runkel:
Hello sorry again for the inconvenience, i have added back a few filters from LibPeriodicTable that I didn't include due to them being out dated/buggy. I think this maybe the issue as I am able to add LibPeriodicTable filters of other kinds from a fresh start. Let me know if it is not. v3.4.4 is the version to look for.
3.3.5 is completely broken on retail. Bags don't open at all. No LUA errors.
In reply to AcidWeb:
3.3.6 is still broken. Do you even test it on retail?
