RollTracker Lite

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

RollTracker Lite is an extremely small addon used for keeping track of /rolls, and especially useful for raid leaders when managing loot.

Currently accepting localizations for Latin American Spanish and Korean! File a ticket if you need help doing so.

There used to be a bug with the German client. If you're using it, please test out v0.4-beta and PM/comment if it works/doesn't work, thanks. :)

Features

Sort /rolls
Highlight rerolls, ties and non-standard ranges
Super lightweight (<10 kb memory) and unobtrusive

Usage & Slash Commands

RollTracker's frame will automatically pop up when a /roll is made. No configuration is necessary.

/rolltracker or /rt to manually display the tracker
/rolltracker clear to manually clear all rolls

Credits

RollTracker Lite was rewritten from scratch based on an old pre-WOTLK addon of the same name, originally by Coth of Gilneas and Morodan of Khadgar, and currently maintained by Eryne at http://wow.curseforge.com/projects/rolltracker2.

Hey all, thanks for the bug reports! I had been on a hiatus from WoW, but I'll try and update my client and activate a 7-day free game time to take a loot at the reported errors. :P

Not entirely sure what do you mean - which listing option? If you meant reporting the winners etc by chat, RollTracker Lite doesn't do that (to keep the addon tiny). Or if you meant rolls aren't being listed in a window anymore, then crap that's a bug!

Hi

just wondering as what you state on the site here is not to much info of the full features

But what I am wondering is this if I was to run OS 3d drake zerg would it track all the need rolls and then show it in different windows as such for each item if the loot rules was Need and Greed

Nope, this addon is not used for the Need-Before-Greed system, but more for Master-Loot mode where the group types /roll to roll for an item. Or for miscellaneous gambling games, that too. :P

make a options for open the addon only in party/raid and/or in dungeons+/instances/ coze in BG and world some bad people spam roll and addon always shows ((((((

So... the Cata box apparently sat on my table for another 2 months, and I've only actually reactivated last week, and that I've been mostly questing over the weekend. XP I'll try applying the suggested fixes and see if it works tonight. :)

okay managed to fix, you can copy&paste entire code from here:

changes:
- replaced "this" with "self"
- onload function wasn't executed
- changed eventhandler function to new syntax, old one didn't know "arg1" anymore

ps did not change any credits or authors comments, this is just a quick fix, hope this is ok for you zanglang

btw there is no minimalistic addon out there that does your rolltracker lite's job.
seems nobody is rolling atm^^

This addon isn't JUST useful for tracking rolls on loot, it's also exceedingly useful when playing 21/Blackjack!

Wow, I missed doing that. :)

Anyway I've just picked up my Catacylsm box though, I haven't found time to reactivate my account yet. :P I'll start looking into fixing this as soon as I do.

Hmm, this is problematic, I've been on hiatus from WoW for awhile now so I don't have an account to check stuff. Is this broken on 4.0.1? And if so, is the error the same as what's posted below by THC?

There's a quite easy fix for the german client:

RollTracker.lua, l54:
