MyRole - WoW AddOns

MyRole provides a LibDataBroker 'data source' object, the effect of which is that your broker-compliant display (such as Bazooka) will show an icon describing your currently assigned role. If no role has been assigned, the icon is a flag.

You will need a LibDataBroker compliant display to use this addon - without one, the addon will do precisely nothing. Again, I recommend Bazooka. Last I checked, TitanBar also works, and FuBar works with an additional addon (broker2fubar or something like that.)

Enjoy, and please let me know if you have any bugs or suggestions! Additional features are also always welcome, though they probably won't be added to *this* addon as it is meant to be a very simple addon. If your ideas are good, though, they might make it in to another addon.

Well, while it certainly looks amazing, and I normally like options, I'm not sure I need something that "heavy" for my purposes. That and I already use Karma for a lot of my Player tracking/notation needs.

Being able to quickly identify who is the tank in a group I'm already in though is something I find a constant problem, since asking doesn't always get answers- even if people are unusually talkative. Last night I was in a random with a Spanish-speaking tank.

I certainly agree, SkunkWerks! Check out another addon I wrote that does that (and much more!), called DungeonMate.

This is a neat Idea, but you know what would make this infinitely more useful? Being able to read the current Role setup for ALL roles in a 5-man.

I'm no Code guy, so I haven't the faintest idea how feasible this would be, but honestly who signed on as Tank and Healer is far more useful information. I already know what I chose, but what other people choose is really not known to me unless a drop and re-queue occurs.
