73 - Reversing cast bars and channels
So this friend of mine felt like being his usual idiot and wanted his IceHUD cast bars differently: GCD growing upwards and channels in the same direction as casts. I made the patch for him and, considering that more people might appreciate this customizability, I'll post it here as well. It changes the current reverse property to inverse and adds a new reverse property that reverses the growing direction of the bar (you might want to do away with the name switch for backwards compatibility of profiles; make sure the terms are used in a sensible way in the interface, though). It also adds a new property reverseChannel to all cast bars, defaulting to true to mimic current behaviour.

Obviously I'm not very intimately familiar with the addon, considering the other factors that needed to be taken into account. It helps when you don't use all features ;). But thanks for patching it up and including it!

Parnic Jul 20, 2010 at 03:19 UTC - 0 likesNote that there were quite a few other factors that had to be considered for this feature to go live: cast bar "lag" indicator position, threat bar "aggro pull" indicator position, threat bar "second threat" indicator movement and position...I hope I didn't miss any ;).
