28 - Tracker for nodes not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. standing or flying over veins, ores, herbs and or gas clouds and does not track active nodes on minimap.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To show on the minimap that there is an active node below

What version of the product are you using?
I used the latest build from curse (1.21 and I used the last version update on this site)

Do you have an error log of what happened?
nope

Please provide any additional information below.

I have tried to troubleshoot this for two days now by process of elimination, adding and removing addons to see if there is a compatibility issue, and nothing has worked. Like I stated before, I removed all my addons excpet gathermate and still does not work.

    Nevermind Im an idiot.... I had it set to find repairs not minerals...good god... time to back away from the keyboard lol Sorry!

    do youmean the yellow dots that blizzard places? i.e. the solid yellow dots? If so, then its an issue with a minimap mod that is replacing the blip textures. GatherMate ONLY draws the circles.

    Or for some reason your resource tracking isnt set i.e. you dont have find herbs or find ore enabled.

    Well it has to do something with the patch, gathermate has been working flawlessly since it's creation. Now all of a sudden it just stops working for my alt characters. Last night I uninstalled WOW and re-installed a fresh copy and still does not work. I'm really stumped.

    Quite sad really, Gathermate is my favorite addon. Any other addons that will show active nodes like gathermate?

    Deleted the WTF folder and still no go, does not show yellow dots for active nodes. Was working perfectly til latest patch. I have no clue, I give up.

    try flushing your saved varaibles for your alt.

    ok a little update. this seems to be only happening on my alt characters on the same account. On my main I can see gas clouds no problem.
