Kc7vwc Dec 25, 2009 at 11:37 UTC - 0 likesBeen playing with this for couple hours tonight & couple things I noticed. I use the defaultUI & as a shaman I have the in-game totem bar setup. DHud3 rearranged my four main element totem slots. The default is Earth, Fire, Water & Air, from left to right. With DHud, its Air, Water, Earth & Fire. This is only a minor point. The big issue is that once I select a totem, and begin combat, I cannot switch totems. I can scroll up the totem menu, and click the totem I want, but it does not save it. It reverts back to the totem I started combat with. I logged out, disabled ONLY Dhud & now my totem bar works as intended. Any way to fix this or I need to wait for a new version for a fix.
Used to run ArcHud & this is so much better. Great addon & thanks.

fixitman Dec 10, 2009 at 15:33 UTC - 0 likesI just posted a detailed error report (ticket) for issues since patch 3.3. I hope it helps in getting this updated (I'm lost without DHUD3 lol).

GRiMoku Oct 15, 2009 at 03:00 UTC - 0 likesI'm coming to DHUD3 from MetaHUD and the "Nuckin branch" -edit-. But that's not why I'm here. I'm here cause a kind soul pointed me to a remake of the Original kcik ass hud..DHUD. :)
After playing with DHUD3 I'm rather impressed at the configuration and options. The modules is a smart way to do things. So here's some questions.
1. Are there different Textures available? I don't like bubbles, I'm more of a smooth criminal. lol
1.a. I prefer the Elite/Rare textures of MetaHUD, are they available? Can they be added?
2. I noticed after playing with the options on my DK, specifically the Aura/Ability Font size, the runes/auras seem to snap to the inside player bar and the only way to fix it is a /console reloadui. Just thought I'd pass that along.
3. Any plans to add a Range/ToT health bar like MetaHUD? Maybe a new Module? Cause that would be cool and I could forget about MetaHUD. :)
edit: 4. The update of the health/mana seems kinda jumpy. Is there a way to smooth that out?
Cheers and keep up the great work.

Kouseiu Sep 04, 2009 at 19:12 UTC - 0 likesLove the addon btw, aside from the original DHUD, this is one gives it a real run for it's money. I'm wondering if you plan to allow for target/target of target text to be movable as well. I know you can move the values, but was hoping to see the name plates to be movable.

fixitman Sep 03, 2009 at 01:01 UTC - 0 likesThanks for the update to v1.5. It looks as though some debug lines were "left on" though. (just trying to be helpful)
Edit: Found the lines causing the errors: DHUD3.lua line 654 Player.lua line 1283
The errors went away once I commented them out. DHUD3 is working GREAT now, thanks again for all the hard work :)

fixitman Aug 27, 2009 at 21:06 UTC - 0 likesFinal Edit: all fixed with v1.5, thanks
Regen alpha seems to be very bugged since v1.4. I'm used to seeing the bars at the regen alpha state until health/mana/power are maxxed, and then seeing a switch to off-combat alpha. It does this occasionally now, but mostly just switches directly to off-combat alpha when out of combat. I prefer to have off-combat alpha set to 0.00 for better visibility, but I can no longer see when my health/power/mana are at a safe level. 1.3.1 seemed to work as expected, but bigger bugs prevent me from reverting to it.
I also noticed that casting alpha seems to be broken entirely. I'm not certain if this was the case in 1.3.1 or not.
I've already posted a ticked for target frame issues. Should I post a ticket for this, or is it normal at this stage of development?
Edit: I noticed that regen alpha was working on my 80 warrior if set to 0.5. Setting it to 0.4 broke it, and setting it back to 0.5 fixed it again. His max HP is 26622. This had no effect on my 17 priest, so it might just be a fluke.

Arcanefoam Aug 25, 2009 at 21:36 UTC - 0 likesLao,
Can you be a bit more precise? Bars fill now on "OnUpdate" events so they fill as fast as blizz has new info on your char and its targets. But what is the smoothness you talk about?

LaoTseu Aug 24, 2009 at 20:14 UTC - 0 likesI've been using DHUD variations for HUD for a very long time now. Your version works great and has pretty much everything I need. Do you have any plan to use animations to smooth the bar refresh? I thing that it would benefits this a lot.
In any cases, thanks for the great work.
