Getting Started

When you first login with this AddOn you will see a black transparent rectangle with a blue bar labeled 'Default', called the encounter pane, in the center of your screen. Shift+Click on it to move it. From left to right you will see:

  1. Stop Icon: Halts the current encounter (you should rarely have to do this)
  2. Menu Icon: Opens the configuration dialog
  3. Folder Icon: Opens a drop down menu to activate encounters
  4. Lock Icon: Toggles frame anchors
  5. Windows Icon: Opens a drop down menu to show interface windows

Also, if you ever hide the pane and can't get it to show, type /dxe for commands. There is also a minimap icon, which can open the configuration dialog.

I would like to request adding 2 timers for putricide : Malleable Goo + Choking Gas Cloud. (both are p2/p3 only) - choking gas cloud seems to be on a 35-37 second interval - malleable goo seems to be on a 25-26 second interval

Would be awesome to know when to move and minimize the already apparent movement involved to improve dps. thx in advance! -edit. added link to WoL ( longest + last attempt of the night )

-edit2 only just now read back to shadowlycaon's post. All those timers would be perfect in fact. And they seem correct in accordance to our guilds 10 attempts on 25man.

seems kinda silly to mark the spore people as blizzard puts a huge spore above their head... i assume if you can't see that a raid icon won't help either. I was wondering if it was possible to add LDW's mana during p1 so we can see how much is left before entering p2 by looking at the pane and also Saurfang's Runic Power. Both are handy to see.

Hi, first of all thanks for great boss mode. Its a lot batter than others. Is there any way to add marks on spores on fastergut?

Sorry I guess the addon does not mark spore people, but rather the vile, was odd though it seemed to mark them at times, maybe I was just tired, anyhow I guess my question should have been can the spore people be marked?

Great addon, thanks for all the work. Had an issue last night in 25 man IC where only two people would get marked on Fester. Maybe it's me and I had the addon setup incorrectly but it became a pain when the third mark would not pop and I had to resort to manual callouts.

Could you add Mortal Wound cast warning for Stinky and Precious?

A few timers that I personally added that you could use if you wish:

    • Cooldown for FIRST unstable experiment(from engage): 25s
    • Cooldown for unstable experiment after Tear Gas aura is removed: 20s
    • Time to first Malleable Goo after Tear Gas: 6s
    • Cooldown of Malleable Goo: 25s
    • Time to first Gas Bomb after Tear Gas: 15s
    • Cooldown of Gas Bomb: 35s
    • Tear Gas Duration(from aura applied): 20s -> Not 100% on this one.

Hope it helps, have not got a chance to test them fully though, from all video evidence they seem accurate though. These are for 25 man only, I am not sure if the timers are the same for 10 man.

@Veev: Hey, that's one of the anchors for the bars. Click the lock on the pane to toggle it. Glad you like it =)

@Stoutenn: Refer to the quoted stuff here I'd make the duration something like 1000. To remove it you could make a macro for '/script DXE.Arrows:RemoveAll()'. Note that the arrows will only work in raid instances that I have map dimensions for.
