About YurrCombatLog

YurrCombatLog is a replacement for Blizzard_CombatLog in the style of SimpleCombatLog.

Features

Lightweight
Replace Blizzard_CombatLog events with a reformatted events so it's faster to read what information you want when the combat log is scrolling very fast
Colors of names are different for You, Pets, Enemies, Party, Raid, Guardians/Totems or color names by their class
Fully customizable filtering system
Blacklisting of auras to prevent spamming
Watch single units to see what happened to them (death tracking). Useful in raids to see why a tank died for example
Custom quick button frame like the one from Blizzard_CombatLog more tiny
Load on Demand options

Usage

type /ycl to open the settings
YurrCombatLog provides a LibDataBroker-1.1 object. You will need a display addon like ButtonBin, Carousel, Fortress, StatBlockCore, ChocolateBar, DockingStation, NinjaPanel or Titan Panel to name just a few.

Try out r250 instead of v0.69, it should be fixed there

0.68 is up, that should fix the long standing issue where filters reappeared every log/reloadUI.

I'm also getting the problem where my combat log is just spammed constantly at a 100 miles an hour.

Maybe you've set your filters wrong. It shouldn't spam that much really.

Each time I log on, my YCL gets spammed with all actions going on around me. I need to open the /ycl settings and go to the filter section and press the "refilter" button every time to get it back to the settings that I want to use. Any ideas?

Honestly, I've got no idea. You are one of many person who are reporting me similar issues, I just could never find a solution. Try running YCL without any other addon perhaps even though I doubt that is causing the problem.

Hey,

how do i go about getting YCL to only show my actions? i just want to be able to see my attacks against a mob and their attacks against me. i cant seem to work out how to get it to do this.

I'm using prat too and it doesn't cause any problems here. It shouldn't cause problems.

yes, filters don't work for me too. And yes, no errors, but i Think it's because of other chat addons (like Prat etc) that makes it to conflict between them.

It's very strange, i had quite a few reports the filters are not working properly but i can never reproduce it...
No errors i suppose, that makes it very difficult to reproduce.

All i can suggest is deleting the saved variables while WoW is not running and then try again even though that shouldn't change anything but worth a try.

yes, after that didn't work, I actually deleted the filter so that the only filter available is To Me
