Gonna need more to go on. Works fine here on all my characters. Anyone else having an issue?

I can say I have issues with 3D Portrait on mine when running eyefinity.

If I switch to a normal single monitor resolution the 3D portraits look fine.

I've found the portraits appear to be affected with Human and Night Elf. On Dreanei it appears to ok. Except if you have a Dreanei targeted the 3D portrait of the helmet and horns will disappear and show the face.

On the Night Elf you see partial outline of the head and hair and weapon. Gives the appearance that its "zoomed" in too close.

The player frame sometimes didn't display 3D Portrait(it's just blank with black frame) and the rep bar stuck on "not watching" when login the game with any of my characters. I was report this on other ticket... This problem can be fixed by "mouseover-ing on any options in X-Perl option window's Player tab".

    Issue has not been fixed.

I suspect very much that this is an issue in the API. There's really not that much that X-Perl does. It defines a frame and says "Hey, show me this guy's face". There's 2 camera options, face or full body. That's it.. It's simple.

It works perfectly for me, and without some hard evidence that it's a fault with X-Perl, I'm not sure what I can do.

Maybe it can explain why it happens so randomly...sometimes you get, but mostly you don't. It happens about Patch 3.0/3.1 or later for me, but I'm sure it happens long time.

And I remember I never get this shit happens when I only loaded X-Perl addons for testing some code... I guess why it happens on 3.0 for me because I always have out-dated addons loaded when WotLK launched(after that time, Blizzard made many good addons broken and they never updated for latest Patch), and I can't stop use them....... :\

I just guess, don't take too seriously. :p

This issue is bigger than i thought, at least for me. If it's not showing the portrait, it will not update stats as the current character level as well. Same issue as here: http://www.wowace.com/addons/xperl/tickets/1028-information-not-updating-on-frames/

  • _ForgeUser424818 posted a comment Jan 12, 2011

I have this issue as well. 3D portrait not showing, level up not recognized by the player unit frame (ex: Level up to 55, shows 54 still)

    This issue is not fixed.

I don't think it fixable because it may cause by outdated addons or other things, but without finding it, it's very very hard to find out or even fix it...... :\

It's still not fixed and while you say that it''s hard to fix, maybe you should look at what I wrote before. Hovering over the portrait-options in the players-tab will show the character-image again.

It almost 1 year and no more update or something so just close this old ticket, I guess they already fixed or can't fix or whatever.

Anyway, If you have problem with current X-Perl alpha/release versions, feel free to report them again. :D
