is there any way that X perl can make the raid frames sort by roles like Blizzard raid frame does?

That could be an interesting feature and xperl has already got sorting code (correct me please) to sort by class. I think it won't be difficult to implement that.

I've hardly investigated into this feature and I'm almost ready to say this can be done.

I have an implementation for that. I just have to add a setting in the settings window to turn that on (and that will be hard).

Working at the settings at the moment. Better to increase the 2nd version number to ensure correct version checking. I'll push an alpha with the version number changed shortly to let you try and see if the options work.
