Loving this beta! Great work. Yes, I'm victim to the occasional crash when mimizing... but I have another bug to mention:

I can't see any chat history in the IM windows, even though I have the options marked to do so. Everything's updated, working on the current beta, no errors popping up... just no history.

Am I missing something? Are other people having this problem?

Other than that, superb addon.

There should be an option to supress the windows in combat...
I myself dont have them popup at all when i get a msg, id rather click to open when i get one ...
and talking about that.... Pazza it would be nice if you could put back a keybinding to open new messages like in 2.0 :)

First off, thanks for all your work!!

My question is this: the "Behaviors for State" dropbox offers several choices, one of which is "PvP". Is this BGs? If not, what is it? I have a friend who won't use WIM because she can't turn it off in BGs, and I am hoping that is what the "PvP" state is referring to.

PvP does refer to being in a battle grounds. So that will suit your friend.

Key bindings will return.

I'd just like to say thank you this Mod.
I am eagerly awaiting the "default" tabbed windows feature which I am sure will come in time :) (It's kinda the only reason I used WIM in the first placce. Keep up the good work, WIM is an amazing bit of programing :)

WIM_Options is no longer needed. That was part of WIM2.0 and you can delete it. WIM3's options is built into the main addon.

Ever since the new patch was released for WotLK. My WIM has being doing the weirdest things. I have tried and tried again to reinstall v3 and even the old version to try and get it to work but when I log into WoW and check my add on's, I'll enable WIM and it works fine, but when I try to enable WIM Options it always says out of date. What does this mean? What should I do?

Aside from the tabs, all that you requested is there already. For popups and focus, look at the /wim Whispers->Window Behavior options... They are different than WIM 2.0's but more powerful. A lot more control over window behavior.

If you read through comments, I have stated many times, even in description, that I am adding the old features back one at a time. I rewrote WIM from scratch and did not have the time to finish all of its features for the WoW patch.

As far as you're Windows comment... I hate windows. lol. I use a mac. And if I had the patience, I would add the genie effect to the animations. lol. Eitherway, I thought that would be a nice treat for everyone. It can be disabled in the options.

For those with the crash, I am still working with some people to see if its fixed yet.

But those powerfull options dont allow to turn off popups in combat, u either disable pupups for raid instance or u enjoy popups in middle of a fight.

That will be changed in the next update. the priority of the states have been modified. Combat will always come before everything except for arena.

The only thing delaying the next update atm is the crashing when minimizing. I am trying to get in touch if those who are crashing so we can test somethings and figure out what is causing it.

I few things i miss:
- tabbed windows
- "do not popup in combat" option
- cant disable autofocus on window popup
- "autofocus in cities" option

In other words i'd like to see WIM2 updated to work with 3.0.2
It's realy great addon but the overall impression from WIM3 is regress compared with WIM2. And those animated windows...??? r u big fan of microsoft? ;)

you are doing an awsome job i still love the addon and have been interested in the changes you made and im sure you are working on stuff like the auto tab chat and stuff like that
I do have one error that i have found not sure if others have reported it yet but one problem i have run into is when i resize to a smaller size and usualy when i try to minmize it tends to crash wow ..but only if i resize it other wise seems to be working very nice so far

The only issue I have had has been with the fairly regular WoW crashes when minimizing WIM. No lag or spotty performance issues otherwise.

I am on a fairly high end PC....

Yeah, same.

And it doesn't happen every time I minimize it either, but it happens about 75% of the time.

I'm also on a fairly high end PC.

Mine does not crash but I do have an issue when a window opens, it freezes my game - i know instantly when i get a whisper but this is not always good when i am healing and casting a heal

Any ideas?

Sounds like you are using SpamMeNot -- Although I haven't tested it yet, the latest version of it was suppose to resolve some issues.

I've been getting that, too, and I wasn't sure what that was since my friend that also uses WIM hasn't seen it.

I'll have to try not using SpamMeNot and see if I still get that. Thanks for the info. :)

hi, i was just wondering if anyone else was having this same problem... now and then when i get a /w the window pops up but im spammed with that message continuously. at first i thought it was someone messing me around and doing it on purpose but i every now and then it happens. even if i block the person i still get the same repeated message and it only goes away if i /reloadui.

just wanted to know if it was a bug in wim or a conflict with some other addon i have installed or if there was a way around it.
