I have the same problem. Had to disable WIM because of it. I suspect it has something to do with the Addon "Prat" - but I have had the issue even while sitting in Icecrown, with no chat going on.
I found out that WIM is causing this because it as the only Addon updated when the issue started to appear. When I looked at the changelog, it said that "libwho" is updated - which has caused issues of this type for me earlier with the Census addon.

I have always had a problem with this addon in which the /who command continually keeps opening my social console with the names of random players. Before the most recent version it only occurred once every half hour or so. But with the newest version, the /who console comes up every 5-10 seconds rendering this addon useless to me because I can't do anything while the /who console keeps coming up.

This is an amazing addon, and it saddens me to disable it, but hopefully this is fixed somehow.

I have the same problem with the who console popping. I found out, at least in my situation it's because of the LFG channel, every time someone posts a message, and call to arms displays it, the /who pops with that persons name, I don't know if that helps any.

Would it be possible to have an option to have the windows not leave the boundary of the screen? Or maybe designate a place where the little "off-screen" blips appear? Mine always go under another addon, and in order to click them, I have to disable the other addon temporarily, get my WIM window back, and re-enable it.

For some reason the "/who" window keeps popping up every 15 seconds searching random players... I love this addon but that problem makes it unusable for me and I had to disable the addon. It won't give me any error report to copy, but if you know of this problem I beg you to fix it! please?

sounds to me as though you are using another addon which is using an outdated version of libWho.

Hi,

I have a small Issue.
Sometimes when I mouseover the window of WIM to check where is somebody's position I get an error-message.

Great addon but the last updates just messed it up. If for any reason a chat window is minimized, then after some (short) time it will never open again. If I suppress the chat using the map icon, then next time I whisper someone a new window will pop as expected and WIM will work properly... until next minimization.
Conclusion : at the moment WIM has become a pain and I must switch it off. Too bad. :( Pazza, be a sweet, please make it work again :)

I dunno about anyone else...but I find when I'm in combat, and i'm whispering someone... if I click on their names and use the main chat interface to whisper something to them, my WIM window won't open up, and it eats all my whispers form then on... I just don't get my whispers after that point D:

I like this addon but I've noticed that since I started using it my computer has been choking when I play WoW. My computer should not lag at all. There seems to be some sort of memory leak going on here.

I had this issue with WIM awhile back. Not a memory leak, but a big history log. Turned off the history tracking, and it never lagged again.

For now until i can reproduce this problem, /wim -> Window Settings and check Clamp window to screen. This will prevent the window from going off the screen all together.
