However i realy miss the ability to bind a group of objects under 1 name and share them with others in a easy way.
realy like how you can target 1 frame to hook onto another one but now that i have created my player unitframe i have 18 different objects, and it would nice to be able to save all of these as player_unitframe so i can share my creation(well your creation technically speaking) and move the 18objects as 1 frame and move/scale them easily without having to know all objects are targeted onto the player_icon object.
this is especialy usefull considering a player/target and focus frame would bring the total nr of objects to around 60!
Id say that makes it nearly impossible to share a underhood layout, atleast for large group of wow players.
@happymidget: You can position any frame anywhere. For freeform positioning dock the frame to "-- Screen --" with CENTER anchor points and set X and Y coordinates by clicking on numbers under the rangebar and entering the correct number.
@binkenstein: If you are speeking about borders than you can't turn it off in UnderHood style. I'll add several styles later on and I'm sure one of them will be borderless. But it will look ugly, IMO :) To color text values please use tag sequence modifier "HPColor", f.e. "[FractionalHP:HPColor] [PercentHP:Percent:HPColor:Paren]"
Suggestion: sadly, the only reason why i am not using this addon, because i can not specifically choose the X and Y axis #'s. i sorta like my interface to be symmetrical and neat and the bars just need to line up for me. if you added this, omg best unit frames out there in my opinion.
(if you can already do this and i'm just being a noob let me know)
the percentage for coloring the bar. I just dont know how to twocolor a bar (lagpercentage in red for example). Didnt see an option for that. If I got it right, for each bar are 2 layers defined: foreground and background. How hard would it be to add a third one?
@Kinjin23: To create a layout you need to open UH configuration (type /uh), then navigate to "Frames" and press "Bar" on the right. Expand "Frames by name" category, select created frame and navigate to the "General" page. Select "player" as unit. Move to Providers page. Select "Health" as the provider for the main zone. Close the configuration window and select yourself as a target (F1). You should see your health bar now. Now go back and play with position and other settings as well as create other bars.
One thing why you can't see newly created bars is because of the Alpha-rule, that says "If you have max HP and power and not targetting anyone then make my HUD absolutely transparent".
@ravndark: You can click on the number below the range-bar and manually enter coordinates. Unfortunately this is the default behavior of the number editor in Ace3. And, BTW, I do suggest to use "docking" feature, where you stick frames together. It is much easier to move them at once if you'll need to adjust the distance from the center of the screen.
After cleaning out all saved variables, I can now get the menu to open. But I still cannot see the HUD, and the clarity has been turned all the way up on in combat and out of combat. I have even tried doing this with a clean WTF folder, still the same issue. Hopefully, I am just doing something wrong since getting Underhood2.
Are there any addons that would naturally interfere with Underhood? I have been trying to get the beta to work for some time, even manually cleaning out any SV I can find marked for it. To no avail, I sstill cannot see the HUD, nor does the menu come up. Please advise, anything ideas would be helpful. I absolutely love this HUD, its the best I have found.
Hello, I'm loving the configuration so far but I'm having a lot of issues when trying to move their position. The bar does not seem to move in increments of 1, instead it jumps by 26 making it impossible to place anything in an organized manner. Is there a way around this? Thanks!
First of all: Love yer addon, gr8 work Anadale!!
Now to my question: Is there any way to bring up the list on my taget so I can whisper, invite, inspect etc. Have target name and icon allready but nothing happen when clicking those.
Very grateful for answer!
I've been updating pretty consistently and i still have that ghost frame... i did /reloadui and checked when i logged in, but there is no version number that i see.
I basically have a mirror frame, no color, no fill.. it's grey, but i can mouseover it to highlight myself, and click it to highlight myself. I have no idea what it could be at this point, and i really dont want to delete the wtf configs because i have something like 25 frames i had to make from scratch...
@bloodsailadmiral19: To set a font for a text frame you need to locate frame, click plus sign near it's name, click on "Font" below and select the font and it's properties on the right.

Also, text bars are hot colouring based on HP/Power.

@Doe: Can you please PM me your Underhood.lua file from SavedVariables?
