Posted May 22, 2008I really like this mod it is VERY easy to customise unlike others
but there are a couple of other features I would prefer with such a spell timer mod which makes it practical for use with CC classes as well
Feature 1 Wouldnt want it to just track spells I would also want it to track CD's longer than the global CD like tracking Innervate, CD Feral fearie fire CD, Tranquility CD, death coil CD, Howl of Terror CD, battle res CD.
Feature too I want greater customisation for the txt alerts it either spams you with EVERYTHING or it is off all together
txt alert choices per spell including output selection per spell would be preferable, and the same for CD's
including output choice being to self party raid channel according to spell.
ie. /self fear on X expires in Ysecs
/p sheep on X expires in y seconds
/raid <name> Rebirth CD over in 20 Seconds
with even perhaps the remote possibility of a click to send to party/raid/tell what remains on a timer...
I was using dot timer but it is so out of date half the customisation features no longer work at all
but with the way your auto spell detect works and the basic spell list presented providing the oppurtunity to easily customise by spell I think this could be a VERY powerful CD and spell timer CC alert mod for ANY class in wow

Posted May 3, 2008I am trying to set this up for melee buffs, and I want to get Mongoose to appear twice (once for each weapon). I had it working in a previous version, does this still work, and how can I enable lightning speed to appear twice, once for each weapon?

Posted Dec 20, 2007Great mod, I love it. Just one problem though..
I only want it to track water shield, but every time I log in or reload my UI it re-scans my entire spellbook and tracks everything i can cast.
So I have to manually clear all spells, enable detection, cast water shield, then disable detection every single time i log in.
Am i screwing something up or is this a bug? Thanks in advance.

SpellReminder will forcefully add all spells in your spellbook.
However to achieve what you want (if you only want the one spell) you will have to mark each tracked spell as Inactive AND disable detection.
It will probably seem like a chore to mark all spells as inactive, but its really the only way to do it.
If i may ask, is there any annoyance you have with the addon which made you choose to disable everything?

anyone got a clue how to add this to the Ace "Brand" within Curse.com? I guess i have to add the ace2 "tag" to the project, but adding tags seems to be broken right now, doh!

SpellReminder is already written using the Ace2 framework, i would like to know how to add it to the ace2 brand within Curse.com

The Curse brand filter allows users to search for addons within their favorite frameworks.
I'm guessing i need to add tags to this addon such as "ace" and/or "ace2", alas i'm unable to add new, only remove.
